“Olivia is missing!” Willow growls pacing her father’s office.
“Why are you only telling us now?” Her mom walks up to her, rubbing her shoulders.
She explains that the council is dealing with it, but the sudden appearance of dark forces in their territory has her worried. Where they are keeping Olivia, they have her cloaked. Nobody can find any trace of her. Willow can’t even feel her through their bond.
“Mom, whoever this is… They know what they are doing. I didn’t even realize it until I tried to contact her last night. The Councillor let me know that she is missing! How could I not know that my mate is…” She feels the anger boiling inside her when her mom takes her hands and reminds her to breathe.
Going full-beast mode inside the house wouldn’t be a great idea.
