Talic's POV
Three days of traveling without much rest and needed food were finally taking a toll on me. I felt exhausted, and my head was badly aching.
After Flora's instructions and badly drawn directions, I took it upon myself to search for that witch. Although I was in the said territory she was in, I couldn't sense her presence nor notice any wild animals near me. Something felt off, and that made me feel a little nervous.
I opened the door to my car and slowly got out, taking a few steps ahead.
When I stood still, I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. When I opened my eyes, I sighed softly. It was of no use; I still couldn't pick up any supernatural being's scent.
