Talic's POV
I stood in the Alpha's office, looking at him speechlessly.
He was going through his files with a smile plastered on his face, without paying attention to me or even looking my way.
I had already talked to the warriors and told them what was going on, as well as a few pack members so they could show discretion. As for Leah, she was banned from seeing him. It was a command and order I had given her, and I was sure she was going to heed it. As it was, the Alpha wouldn't waste any time in killing her if she said something to anger him.
"Alpha," I called softly.
When a minute went by, I frowned deeply.
I couldn't understand why Ridge wasn't taking over and pushing his human into their subconscious. I understood that the pain was too much to handle, but we still needed him to
