Chapter 6
Alexander had never thought about the twists and turns that life held in store for a person before. He had plenty of time to think about them now. Therefore, with more time on his hands and a desire to keep his mind busy so he didn’t have to think about Christian or Adam, he rode out to The Mansion and helped himself to one of Christian’s books. It was called The Adventurous Mind and it took Alexander just two days to read it from cover to cover.
Contained within the book was an account of his travels around the world with a focus on the mystical and spiritual. The bulk of the book was about his time in Bhutan and the spiritual gifts bestowed upon him by Dorji. As well as the visualisation skills Christian had taught Alexander, there were other, more complex, mind skills.
