Chapter 4 The very next night, after he’d finished work, had some dinner and showered, Alexander was back at Christian’s. Still on a high from the success of the previous evening, Alexander wanted to go further, to push himself. He wanted to see if he could create more than a single beautiful butterfly. Christian had said anything was possible, that he had a gift. “Make yourself as comfortable as possible,” said Christian, who had twisted his legs into the Lotus position. Alexander lay down on the beach blanket. “You’re not going to fall asleep are you?” asked Christian. “Don’t know.” “Better sit up, I think. If you fall asleep on me, which is highly likely, then that’s the end of it.” Alexander sat up and attempted to copy the Lotus position, but neither leg was flexible enough. H
