I woke up to my alarm going off. Had her arms not been tightly around me I would have gotten up, but she was refusing to release me. “I don’t want to get up.” She whispered in my ear. “I know, but life calls. Our presence is required in the real world.” At that she sighed heavily and released me. I got up and headed to take a shower. My body needed me to boil off the depression I felt trying to consume me. Not long after I got in, Azura came in and got in with me. I was surprised at first, but then she grabbed a washcloth, soaped it up, and began washing me with it. It felt wonderful. Never in my life had anyone taken care of me like this.
