When he turned away, his head became blank and he just gazed at the man. Only a weak beating pounded in his chest as his pulse came to a halt. A mental paralysis overtook him, and even though his thoughts shouted at him and then grab the phone, he just cannot seem to make his body follow.

A sharp breath passed down his neck, and his thoughts cleared, his hand shooting out and snatching the phone from the table so quickly that he literally lost it.
"Oh, by the way," Adam said as he returned his gaze, and Isaac startled a bit. "I'm searching for a house outside of town. Can you please notify me if you heard of something?"
