19 JED For two weeks, Aiden and I worked late into the night, mapping out a storyline and learning the characters we created together. It was pure magic sitting close beside him, soaking in the warmth of his body even though we didn’t touch beyond an accidental brush of fingers or knees beneath the table. He showed more restraint than I had expected after I’d given into my sinful nature and we’d crossed an ethical line.
