I sat enraptured by Mr. Williams’s love story, vivid scenes playing in my mind as he shared—again—how he’d met Jonathan.

From afar, but an instant draw like magnets meant to stick to one another.
I could feel it in every cell of my body with vivid, tingling clarity when Aiden entered a room. When he’d touched me with his knee beneath my parent’s dining room table. When I’d wrapped my arms around him, wanting to offer comfort.
