EYES IN THE CASTLE

Clarris walked away frustrated, she had made a promise all those centuries ago and was not planning to go back on her words. There was definitely another way to kill the Nemo. She went into her chambers and paced the room, her mind was going nuts. She might have no heart pumping in her but she had honor. A knock came on her door but she declined to respond. She was in no mood for company. After realizing that she was not going to open the door, Darrell showed himself in further infuriating her. “Get out now!” Clarris yelled on top of her voice. “You should stop Cleselda from sacrificing the Dark Knights” “I was thinking of a solution before you rudely interrupted me, now get out!” Clarris yelled out again. Darrell began walking out but stopped in his track, turned and said “If any Dark knights are killed I will betray you” Clarris stopped pacing the room and faced him, “Did you just threaten me?” “Centuries ago I had no choice and I do not want to see other knights get their choices taken away…” Darrell replied. “I have given you eternity! You ungrateful brat. Do you know how many men would kill to be in your position?” Clarris yelled at him. “I do not remember asking for it,” Darrell replied in a Stern voice.  Clarris was quiet, never had Darrell ever questioned her about his immortal life. She screamed and broke all the glass in the room. This was all the Naga's fault. That stupid useless creature was dead but still causing her headache. Clarris planned to visit her in hell just to rub salt in her wounds with her son's head nailed to a pike. But first she had to stop King Jerald from following the Naga to hell. There was no way he was getting an easy way out. And the only way to keep him alive is by Killing the Nemo that was sacking the life out of him.  And Marcus was her way in, the stupid boy was ready to take her offer and betray his brothers. And she knew a perfect plan to lure him out. She whistled a perfect tune and a squirrel came through the window. She grabbed it and said some incarnation curse…….. In Crystal Castle it was morning and king Jerald had made it. Rachel was still in denial. She couldn't believe that the man she had spent centuries suffering with was going to die. Instead of celebrating the victory of finally winning over Clarris, she was filled with sadness. She had mixed emotions about the Nemo, in one hand it was going to save her sons and in the other it was killing her husband. She just couldn't understand why falling in love with someone else's man would bring her so much sorrow for centuries. The sons checked in on their father and went to the dungeon to feed their new brother. Stakes of beef were placed on the wheelbarrow which got Barrick angry. Of the six sons he and Miguel were still teenagers, he was exactly eighteen years old and of the two he was emotional and had grown attached to the Nemo. “He is not an animal, you f…k, where is silverware. Treat him like a person. And this beef should be cooked.” Lotus and Nephius looked at him weirdly “Brother we all see a baby lion, hope you are not seeing a human being,” Daniel who came in with buckets of milk pointed out. "He is our brother," Barrick grabbed the Barrow and went to the kitchen, spiced the meat and began roasting it, the other brothers just watched in shock. “Did the Nemo privately inform you that it prefers spiced beef? Who gives a baby spiced beef” Lotus asked. “Any normal person would know that familiarizing Angel to Cooked food will prevent him from eating us alive in the future. Who do you think he is going to eat when he gets used to raw meat or we run out of meat?” “Oooh now you are making sense,” the other brothers stated. “you really have a brain baby brother unlike our eldest brother,” Miguel teased. Lotus burst out laughing, “I thought I was the only that noticed that,” he added. “Seriously guys?” Nephius said while hitting Lotus's head. “Ouchi, why aren't you hitting Miguel??” “Because he is not Lotus,” Nephius replied.  They finished cooking and went back to the dungeon. They all stood metres away from the door and were waiting for the brave one between them to unlock the door, but they were all cowards.  “Barrick you are it's best friend, open the door?” Lotus urged “Seriously!!!” Barrick replied but moved and turned the door. He dropped the plate at the sight of a medium grown Nemo. It Immediately rushed to him and began l*****g him. The other brothers froze in their place. They couldn't believe their eyes, the baby Nemo had doubled in size. It stopped l*****g the frozen Barrick and began l*****g the meat that was scattered all over the floor. The spice was so much that it got onto it's throat and it let out a loud roar that cracked through everyone's ears. The roar was heard as far as Arthora. It began pushing Barrick backwards, a very scared Barrick stood his ground and Yelled. “This is what you are eating, sorry for the spice!” The Nemo looked at him in frustration but began eating the food. The other brothers could not believe what had just happened. “Oooh my God did it just listen to you? And I warned you about the spice.” Lotus moved forward deeped the meat in milk and offered it to the Nemo. At first it looked at him doubtfully but moved forward and grabbed the piece of meat and ate it at once. It moved closer to Lotus very excitedly. Seeing this Barrick also picked a piece and dipped it in milk and called “Angel!” The Nemo rushed to him in excitement. The brothers continued doing this and were only stopped when Marcus came in with king Jerald and Rachel. “We got scared, what was that roar, Oooh Lord how did he get so big,” King Jerald asked surprised. “Barrick tried to choke him on spice, if we are not careful he is going to kill him before Clarris does,” Lotus replied “Barrick, all of you get away from it, there is something wrong, I have read all the books on Nemo's he is not supposed to be this big in days.” Rachel stated. They all moved away accept for Barrick “Barrick move!” Rachel yelled out “Rachel!” King Jerald yelled. He limped to where the Nemo was and embraced it. “He is not supposed to be exactly like in the books. Remember I was a fire whilder before I was a man." “But you're right he is not supposed to be growing at this rate, something is wrong, we need to see elder Lee,” King Jerald added. “Going outside this barrier will mean the end of us. Deadman's forest is Clarris's playing ground do you think she will just sit back and let us question elder Lee?” Marcus felt something pulling his leg, he looked down and it was a squirrel. He tried picking it up but it grabbed on his necklace and took off, “stupid squirrel!” He ran after it, leaving his brothers and parents. He kept running and found it waiting for him on the stairs as soon as it saw him, it dropped his necklace and ran off. “Stupid squirrel!” he said out while picking his necklace and putting it on. Immediately the necklace laced his skin, it stung him and he yelled out in pain. “Hello Marcus?” Clarris spoke in his head, “where were we before we were rudely interrupted……. Oooh yes you wanted a deal.” Marcus looked around scared, “how did you get passed the barrier?” he asked in a terrified voice. “I did not, I'm in your head,” Clarris replied.
