As soon as Darrel saw Cleselda he tapped on the dark knight that was standing next to him and began walking backwards. He kept tapping and shapeshifting until he was out of sight.
“Where is he?”. the Emperor asked again. All the Darknights looked at each other confused, Cleselda sniffed the air,“he is here I can smell him, she came with Darrell,” Cleselda hissed, forcing all the Dark Knights to draw their swords and pointing them on each other, no one knew who was who.
“Gather Everyone who is here,” Cleselda yelled while forming a fence around all the knights that were present. The emperor ordered the other knights not to join the knights that welcomed the Princes until everyone was cleared.
Cleselda cast a revealing spell but there was no Darrell in sight. “No no no, he was here, I can still smell him,” she said some chanting and two sparras appeared, “find the one that is not the one,” she chanted and released the birds in the air. She then walked over to where the Princess was standing furiously.
“How could you bring the enemy in here?” the emperor roared at his daughter.
“She is the enemy, but you allow her to be here,” the Princess sharply replied.
“Watch your mouth child, where is the Nemo?” Cleselda hissed and grabbed the Princess by her arm. “Tell me now…. What plans has the Nemo made?”
She was holding onto the Princess so tightly that the Princess felt pain in her arm and screamed out, “Let go of me you filthy animal!
“Let her be!” the Emperor intervened.
“She was with the enemy and if we do not
get answers she will be our end,” Cleselda replied.
“You will be our end, Omen is coming to tear your head from your wrinkled body just like he did to stupid Clarris,” the Princess spat out. Cleselda was about to slap her but the Emperor quickly moved in between.
“Our main focus now is to find that stupid Darrell, find him and I will deal with my daughter,” the Emperor yelled. Even though the emperor was a merciless dictator, he had a soft heart for his daughter and did not condone anyone bringing harm to her. He grabbed her out of Cleselda's grasp and ordered Cleselda to look for Darrell.
On the other side of the castle Darrell found an empty room and quickly removed both Marcus and Lotus who were still in frog form. He tapped on them and they turned into Dark Nights.
“We have to Be quick, Cleselda already knows that I am here,” Darrell urged them.
Through his brother's eyes Omen was now able to penetrate Cleselda's spell. He was able to scan the entire palace without her Noticing, “To thy left, that's where they are making the flutes,” he said in Lotus's head.
“What the f**k, get out of my head,” Lotus yelled.
“Thou are eyes, I shall be thy eyes,” Omen replied.
“No no go and be Marcus's eyes, I do not want you in my head,” Lotus protested
“Brother he is in all our heads calm down,” Marcus informed him. Lotus looked at Darrell who nodded in agreement. “ooh okay,” Lotus replied with embarrassment and the men began going through their plan. Darrell was familiar with the palace; he gave them specific roles, Lotus was to burn down whatever Cleselda was using to make the flutes while Marcus was to flood the palace. He was the main distraction.
“The flutes are 'in the east while she is making 'in the south gate,” Omen guided Lotus who headed east and wished his other counterparts Goodluck.
On the outskirts of the empire, Omen and Clarris waited patiently even though Clarris was hundred percent sure they were dead.
“Where is your heart?” Omen asked, breaking the silence.
“None of your business,” Clarris replied.
“Then for what hath I heard it beat when thou kissed me?”
“You heard it?? That's impossible, I…. don't…,” Clarris stammered. “In Fact I have never needed it, it only brought misery to me,” she lied.
Omen laughed out loud, he could tell from her quietness the entire morning that her heart beating from the kiss was disturbing her.
“I kiss thou again, so that we hark the heart beat together,” Omen suggested while moving closer to her.
“Stay away from me,” a very terrified Clarris stated, “I'm never kissing you again, the deal is off,”
“No thou promised,” Omen replied in anger.
“Kill me if you want, you just sent your brothers to their deaths and here you are busy taking about stupid kisses and hearts,” Clarris spat out, she was so angry and wanted out, she was no longer interested in revenging Cleselda. She was tired of everything. Jerald was dead, the very man that had caused her to sell her heart and soul and now here she was only a head and with his son driving her crazy.
“Kill me, I want to die,” she said with tears dropping, “I want to die, kill me, please.” she begged. Omen stared back at her in shock as her tears began to soak the ground.
In the palace The emperor sat in his chair shouting at his daughter but Princess Elsa was not giving him the chance, “You declared war on a family that has not done anything to you, stop this madness and I will talk to Omen to spare you,” the Princess begged.
“I will forgive you for dining with the enemy, you do not understand why I have to get rid of that thing before it declares war. you are too young to understand, now go to your room,” he commanded. The Princess tried reasoning with him but he had no time for her. For him the powers the Nemo possessed was a threat to his rule. He ordered his knights to take to her room and guard her tightly. The Princess was taken away by force and on her way out she bumped into Cleselda who gave her a sick smile.
Cleselda brought her crystal ball and placed it on the table, “with this we will be able to see that stupid Darrell,” she closed her eyes and spit on the ball but saw nothing. She chanted again and spit on the ball but again the ball was just shining without a vision of Darrel.
“Impossible! That Nemo is blocking me, he has penetrated my barrier, order half of your knights to search this palace, I'm blind,” she cried out.
“What do you mean?” the emperor asked.
“I can not see anything,” she replied.
“Ain't you supposed to see everything, how can he outsmart you?” the emperor mocked. Cleselda almost spit Venom on him, she was so furious and her blood was boiling.
