Maggie’s POV
Our pack doctor had been called away about 20 minutes earlier. When he returned, he started shouting out directions that he needed someone to come with him to help him treat a she-wolf. I saw my fellow volunteer roll her eyes at the request and then go busy herself with something else. I can’t blame her, we had a lot of mean she-wolves in our pack. I just accepted my fate, as she had seniority, and started getting the items he requested. He was almost in a panic, and I was starting to wonder just how hurt this she-wolf was.
I have not heard of any incidents happening here in the pack. It suddenly hit me that this may be my brother's mate who we were about to go treat. It would make sense. The doctor's nervousness could be caused by Tucker being on a rampage. It
