Chapter 15 – Responsibilities
“You did the right thing,” Zack said, looking across his desk at Dale and Eliza. “Both of you. There was no other option, really. Jameson admitted to being our saboteur. As long as he was alive, he was a threat, so he had to be eliminated.”
Dale stomach twisted. It was strange hearing such harsh declarations from him. But that was part of being a powerful man with enormous responsibilities, he supposed. It wasn't all glitz and glamour. Being CEO also meant making some terribly difficult decisions. As horrible as killing Jameson was, it probably was the most sensible solution. Dale set his jaw a little more firmly. He was going to have to get used to making tough decisions like that if he was ever going to succeed his uncle. That was the real trick, wasn't it
