While Valerie was on her way to her new target she took a small detour. Her wings took her to an isolated little house in the middle of a forest. She sat on a bench on a nearby tree watched how the owner of the house walked out. It was a beautiful young woman with mint green hair and lavender eyes. Although she didn't know Valerie, she knew her very well. She lived under the name Piper, now since six decades. Piper is a really powerful and talented witch. Piper and Valerie's birthday was the same.

After ending up as a Tainted angel and they discovered the potential in her, Abigail worked really hard. She wanted to become a full member of the Guardian Angels so she could take care of her sister and family. That was the only goal in front of her eyes. Abigail was hardworking, determined and really intelligent. Her only flaws were being incredibly stubborn and she couldn't stand unfairness. She was only two years ago in Heaven when her classmates suddenly became a lot friendlier with her. That was the first time she relaxed a little since she was reborn. Her new friends were Sarah, Emanuel and Heather. They taught her new things that the teachers didn't want to and Abigail was really grateful for their help. One day they were relaxing under a tree after classes and Abigail suddenly felt sad. It was a deep sadness which made her heart sink. Heather noticed and asked.
- Hey Abby, what's wrong? - Abigail looked into Heather's silver eyes and sighed.
- I'm just homesick I suppose.
- What is that? - Emanuel asked and Abigail smiled.
- It is a feeling when you miss the place you belong to. Where your family is, where everything is familiar and happy, when you miss your home. - Emanuel frowned his blonde eyebrows.
- I don't get it. - Sarah giggled.
- Don't force yourself a lot, this must be a human thing. - Abigail nodded and her friends shared a strange look.
- Abby, if you could see one person from your home, who that human would be? - Sarah asked and her dark blue eyes sparkled.
- This is difficult because I miss lots of people.
- But you can choose only one! - Heather teased Abigail.
- In this case, I would love to see my little sister. I hope she is doing fine. - Emanuel smirked and scooted closer to Abigail. He whispered in her ear.
- Abby, did you know that when your celestial power reaches the fifth level, you can go down to Earth and be with humans? - Abigail's eyes widened and looked at her friends who nodded in confirmation.
- That's true, although reaching the fifth level is almost impossible. - Sarah said.
- Yeah, and those who manage it becomes directly Guardians of Heaven! - Heather added. Abigail smiled from ear to ear. She knew from a report she stole from St Peter that her celestial power was above level 9. Level 10 belonged to God's direct descendants only.
- Isn't there a way to go down without that? - Abigail asked with faked sorrow. Her abilities were secret and she didn't want to lose her friends due to possible jealousy. She knew well that their parents were really strict and impatient with their studies. If it gets into their ears that a Tainted Angel is way ahead their kids, her friends would be in trouble.
- There is a way, but it is prohibited. You could get in trouble for using it. - Heather said.
- Let's say that I don't mind, what is the method? - Heather leaned closer.
- I don't know, but you'll find information of it in the library's prohibited section.
- How do you know that?! - Sarah asked. Heather shrugged.
- My brother is a nerd.
- Abby, I hope you are not thinking of searching for that method!- Emanuel said and Abigail shook her head.
- I miss them, but I don't want to get punished. - Sarah and Heather sighed at the same time in relief. They went back to their lessons and that night Abigail sneaked out and broke into the library. She looked over every prohibited book until she found the one her friends talked about. She quickly understood why it was a prohibited method. It needed huge celestial power and also blood. Luckily only a little, but normal Angels didn't have any, unlike Abigail. That was the first time she was glad for being a tainted angel! Although she found and studied the method, she kept reading the book. At the last page she found something incredibly interesting. It talked about a magic circle that could open Heaven and even against God's decision, send a soul to reincarnation. Abigail memorized this method as well without knowing, that she might actually use it soon.
After that day each day she sneaked down to Earth and spent her free time with Eunice. Her happiness seemed to overflow. Eunice became even more kind and gorgeous in those years they didn't see each other. Priest Alexander was still working in the church and their parents seemed to recover from the tragedy slowly. Eunice was also very happy to spend time with Abigail. They couldn't hug each other and Abigail's time was limited, but they were glad for every moment. Abigail didn't know, that they both must pay a heavy price for this few months of happiness.
On a day, just like any other, Abigail went down to visit Eunice. The sight she saw was the most terrifying one she witnessed so far. When she arrived their house was empty and all the city gathered in front of the church. Their mother was screaming and cursing, two men held her back while their father was knocked unconscious. Abigail's eyes met with Eunice's and her little sister cried calling her name.
-Abby! Save me! - Abigail only then heard how the priest called her sister a witch for seeing her deceased sister. Abigail rushed back to Heaven to save Eunice before it was too late. She ran as fast as could, also used her wings to go even faster. Abigail grinned her teeth and swallowed the pain that she experienced due to using up all her energy. Whoever tried to stop her must meet the ugly truth. Abigail using her powers fought herself to God's palace. She ripped the door open and sent the Guards flying against the nearest walls. She finally arrived in front of the doors she saw on her first day in Heaven. Abigail's eyes met for a brief second with the engraved Lucifer's.
She bang on the door and screamed for God, but no answer came.
- PLEASE MY LORD! I'M BEGGING YOU! HELP, PLEASE! - she cried and her hands were already bleeding from banging on the robust door. She heard voices from behind but they simply didn't acknowledged her begging. She put both of her hands on the door and focused all her powers. She was ready to die, to receive any kind of punishments. Finally Abigail's power exploded the door and she flew full speed in front of God. She grabbed his ankles and cried looking directly into the eyes of the creator himself.
- PLEASE SAVE MY SISTER! I'LL DO ANYTHING!
-Abby... - a soft voice sounded from behind Abigail. She turned around and saw Eunice holding St. Peter's hand. Abigail cried and looked at God again. She jumped up and shouted at him.
- HOW COULD YOU LET HER DIE!!! SHE BELIEVES IN YOU, SHE LOVES YOU AND YOU LET HER DIE?! - God smack his fingers while looked down on Abigail. She felt even more pain but she didn't move, not even a little. Her eyes were filled with hate and anger. God tried to smack again and his eyes flinched a little while others murmured in the room. Abigail turned her back to him and ran to hug Eunice.
- Eunice, I'm so sorry! I've tried! - Eunice embraced her sister and whispered.
- I know, but Abby you are bleeding! - Abigail didn't care about it. She trembled in all her body with anger.
- Dear God, may I know why I should meet such an end? - Eunice asked bravely and God grinned.
- I don't interfere with humans business. - Abigail stood in front of Eunice and she looked like a wounded wild animal.
- She died innocently because of your incompetence! - Abigail said and suddenly she was draged out of the room. The guards tied her and threw her into a cold lake. Only the tip of her nose was out of the water and she even drowned a few times. God left her there for twelve days as a punishment for not knowing her place. After twelve days, Abigail was released but something broke in her. She went back to St. Peter's house where they lived with Eunice and right when her hand was on the doorknob, the door swung open and Eunice knock her off of her feet. Abigail hugged her sister but Eunice was crying uncontrollably.
- What happened? - Abigail asked with a stone hard expression.
