Three days layer
-Have you seen Abigail? - Sarah asked and her friends shrugged.
- I haven't seen her all day. Let's ask Eunice about it! - Heather said with a cruel smile. At the end of their class they cornered Eunice and Emanuel held her by her shoulder while Heather asked.
- Hey little bug, where is your sister? - Eunice didn't answer, she remembered of what Abigail told her that morning.
******
- Have you found a family you want to live with? - Abigail asked while they had their breakfast. Luckily, St Peter left earlier and the house was theirs. Eunice felt conflicted feelings. She wanted to stay with Abigail, but she didn't want to be an Angel.
- Yes, but...- Abigail held her hand across the table.
- If you have any doubts or you changed your mind, now is time to speak Eunice. - she swallowed hardly.
- I don't want to stay here, but can't you come with me? - Abigail smiled and caressed her sister's face.
- We must pay a price for this decision Eunice. Yours is that I can't go with you. I want you to be happy and safe, but what I'm about to do, might get you in danger. So for your sake I can't go. But as soon as I can, I'll visit you.
- Fine. I'll miss you Abby.
- I'll miss you too. Come on, eat your breakfast and stick to the plan. Don't say a word to them today and run to the main square!
- Yes Abby!
*******
As promised Eunice didn't say a word and Emanuel's grip got stronger on her. Eunice decided to act and she stepped on her capturer's feet while she plugged out one of his feathers. Emanuel screamed in pain and Eunice flew to the main square as fast as she could, with the three angered angels in her heel. In the middle of the square, Abigail already waited for her. She flew into her sister's arms and Abigail pulled her close.
- Abby! We were looking for you! - Heather said but they couldn't approach Abigail and Eunice more than six steps.
- What is going on Abigail?! - Sarah asked when she realized they couldn't get closer, nor could move anywhere. Abigail smiled and her blue eyes shined cruelly. That moment the alarms sounded and everyone listened to the voice of Michael.
- Samael's ring has been stolen! Everyone must gather to the main square until we search the houses! - Abigail lifted her right hand and showed the mentioned ring for Heather, Sarah and Emanuel while other angels gathered around them. St Peter arrived as well and looked at he Brown sisters in horror. He shouted and tried to get closer to them.
- Abigail! STOP THIS NONSENSE! - Abigail glanced at him, but didn't say a word. Peter understood from the way she looked, that Abigail was ready to destroy everything and everyone around them, only to protect her sister. Apart from St Peter, the school director and Michael, nobody knew about Abigail's powers. The fact that she was stronger than the Archangels and her power was almost equal to God's, could've created chaos. The three angels screamed for help, but no one was able to approach them. Their parents screamed and tried to attack Abigail, but all intentions were in vain. Abigail's eyes met with Archangel Michael's who stood frozen in front of the scene. Abigail smiled and whispered to Eunice.
- Don't let me go until I tell you, and close your eyes. - Eunice nodded.
- I love you Abby. - Abigail kissed the top of her head and said.
- I love you as well, don't forget that! - Abigail's power started to swirl around them creating a hurricane of lightnings and celestial power. Michael ordered everybody to hide and the traitors were crying for help. Their power and life left them while Abigail absorbed it through Lucifer's ring. When her eyes met with the creator's she smiled widely and with her right hand, she hit the ground. The power she sucked out of Heather, Emanuel and Sarah, combined with her own and with the darkness of Lucifer's ring lighted up the magic circle , Abigail drew the night before on the marble floor.
That moment, Heaven shook and a huge hole appeared under Abigail and Eunice. She took one last glance at God and mouthed.
- I won. - she fall at an incredible speed with Eunice and her sister slowly turned invisible. Abigail didn't want to let her go and for a split second, the idea of following Eunice turned in her mind. She clenched her teeth and said in trembling voice.
- Eunice! Think of the family you chose now! - Eunice shut her eyes and concentrated hardly. She totally disappeared from Abigail's arms by the time Abigail hit the ground. But her fall didn't stop there, she kept falling into a never ending abyss until she really hit the ground. She smiled and cried at the same time while the tunnel disappeared.
Abigail closed her eyes and felt relief. She sighed loudly and didn't care about anything anymore. Her eyes opened when someone kicked her in her side.
- HEY IT'S ALIVE! - Abigail saw a dark figure above her and three others around. They all had a really terrible look. Different sizes and shapes, but from their horns and ugliness she knew that her new companion were demons.
- Grab it quickly! Witches pay a lot for Angel feathers!
- Even more for their blood!
- Idiots! Angels don't have blood! - while they argued, Abigail got up and said.
- Could you please kindly f**k off? I've had a really rough day and I'm dying for some rest. - their jaws dropped, but none of the demons seemed to cooperate with Abigail. She rolled her eyes and said.
- Fine... Some likes to learn from personal experiences. - Abigail didn't need to say twice. All the four demons launched at her she clenched her fists and before they got to her she hit the huge hill behind her. The celestial power flowed into the rocks and buried the demons under them. Abigail sat down and closed her eyes again, but her rest got interrupted by a slow clapping sound. When she opened her eyes she saw Lucifer himself while he stepped over the murdered demons. He walked lazily towards Abigail. With a big grin he grabbed her right hand, and pulled the ring off of it.
- Since you brought me a precious gift, I might overlook of what happened here and the fact that you still have some celestial power. What's your name little one? - Lucifer asked and Abigail realized, he didn't know about what happened in Heaven.
- Abigail - Abigail said. The king of Hell leaned closer to her and grabbed a little piece of her long brown hair. He looked at it and smiled.
- That name doesn't suit you sweetheart. Abigail sounds innocent and soft, but you are like Hell Roses.
- What is that? - Abigail asked and Lucifer looked into her eyes while he said.
- Gorgeous roses, black as a starless night, they only grow in the blood of sinners and only protect the innocent. - Abigail looked into Lucifer's ruby red eyes mesmerized and he chuckled at her expression.
- A piece of advice sweetie, when you talk with the King of Hell, at least call me Lord. - Abigail smiled.
- I have no Lords anymore. - Lucifer laughed and grabbed Abigail's wings, or at least what was left of them. She didn't notice before, but during the fall her wings got really damaged.
- Well, since you are the smith of you own luck, let me give you this as a welcome gift in Hell!- Lucifer said and he ripped off Valerie's wings violently. She shouted in pain and fell on her knees.
-I like this way better. Good luck in Hell sweetie , I hope you'll enjoy your stay! - at that moment Valerie didn't know yet, that what Lucifer did for her was actually a really nice thing. Without the last attachment to Heaven, she was able to have a fresh start. Abigail wiped her tears and brushed off the dust from her clothes. Lucifer was right. Abigail Brown died by the hands of her raper and Abigail the tainted angel, died while she helped her sister to reincarnate. It's time to make everyone pay for their sins, starting with Priest Alexander... Heaven, Hell and everything in between will tremble hearing the name...Valerie
