Xavier stood on the fourth step to address his pack. The room fell silent when he cleared his throat. All eyes were on us. I was feeling self-conscious. Xavier felt it and squeezed my hand.
"First, I would like to thank you all for getting here so fast. I know it has been a huge inconvenience for everyone. I'm not sure how informed everyone is."
