Ember (POV)
I spent the night in Xavier's arms. I have no idea what we watched. We spent most of our time talking. It was weird talking about myself so much. Having someone want to know so much about me and asking questions. I told him my secrets and my dreams. I told him things I had never told anyone and never thought that I would. I tried to stay up all night, I didn't want to miss a second of the time we had together. I ended up falling asleep late in the night.
I woke up to an empty bed. I looked at the clock on the night stand. It was four thirty in the morning. Xavier must have gone down to meet his dad and pack. I wanted to go look for him but didn't want to be in the way.
Last night he said he wanted me to meet his dad before he left. I really didn't want to be away from him.
