Sam (POV)
I don't know how Alpha Jameson was being so calm while his niece was being so disrespected by this awful b***h, but I must say I did admire his restraint. Xavier's mom stood there, shocked by Luna Sara's comment. I looked over at Xavier to try and read his face. I didn't want to mind link him. That was one mind I didn't want to be in right now.
I could feel Ember behind us. Her feelings were stronger than anything else in the room. I could feel her anxiety and pain.
"Mary, maybe you should come to my office, so we can talk." Alpha Jameson said, holding his hand out to try and usher her out the door. Probably in an attempt to get Mary as far away from the three of us as possible. That's when I felt her.
"s**t!" I reached around to try and grab Ember, but she had already moved
