Victor (POV)
When I came downstairs, Luna Sara informed me that Seth and Jameson had gone to get Ember. They found her. She was in the werebear woods. I was surprised that a wolf would venture into their territory. The only thing that made sense was they didn't know. There was a peace treaty between all magical beings but the werebears were very specific in their treaty. They would not bother anybody as long as nobody bothered them.
King Stephan was not a ruthless king. I actually liked him. He was fair and looked after his people. He helped me out a few times over the years. That's one of the reasons I didn't hesitate to call him when Jameson thought Ember might be in his territory.
I spent the day helping Luna Sara. I even helped her cook lunch for the pack. That was an experience. C
