Victor (POV) I had been running border patrol with Rex for the last two hours. Most of the wolves keep their distance from us. Xavier is the only one they seem not to mind, even though he is an alpha. Me, Stephan and Rex are the outsiders. Jason joined us about twenty minutes ago. He doesn't seem to mind running with us. "Hey man, how's Ember doing?" he asked. Running next to me. "Okay. She wants to fight." I said with a smile. "I'm not surprised. I trained with her." He said with a laugh. "I'm sure Alpha Jameson or Seth will stop that from happening. No one wants her around Dominick or Dimitri." He said, shrugging his shoulders. "I don't know. Ember is pretty stubborn.
