Xavier (POV)
Sam and Ember entered Jameson's office. As soon as Ember walked in the door, she ran to me and threw her arms around my waist. "Are you ok?" she asked, sounding worried and looking me over.
"I'm fine babe. You weren't worried, were you?" Why did she look so worried? She knows I'm an Alpha.
"Of course I was worried."
"You had nothing to worry about, didn't Sam tell you I was fine?" I looked over at Sam, and he rolled his eyes. Of course, he did. "Babe, I'm an Alpha. You have nothing to worry about. I had the situation under control. He needed to learn no one was going to talk to my girl like that. He needed to be knocked down a few steps. I promise, I'm fine. I keep up with my Alpha training." I said, smiling at her.
