Ember (POV)
When I opened my eyes, two giant wolves were sitting on each side of me. Everything that had happened came rushing back to me. I remembered what Xavier and I had been doing and felt my face heat. Then I remembered the pain. So much pain. I don't remember much after that. I looked at the wolves sitting on each side of me and I knew right away who they were. Xavier and Sam, I noticed their eyes. I would know their eyes anywhere. Why were their wolves out? What was going on? I looked at Xavier's wolf.
"Is something wrong? What's going on? Why is your wolf out?" I was starting to panic. Xavier's wolf shook his head no, then turned to look at uncle James. Uncle James walked over to the foot of the bed, the only place he really had room. Sam and Xavier's wolves were taking up a hug
