I laid on the coach with Ember in my arms for hours, listening to her soft breathing. I can't believe I finally found my mate. I have searched for so long. Of course, she would have some crazy ass bond with another wolf. I didn't like the idea of my life and future being connected to someone else. It's hard enough being connected to your mate in that way, let alone another wolf.
But the moon goddess put the three of us together, so there has to be a reason. It's not like I can do anything about it even if I wanted to. Ember will one day take her place as Luna Queen, so maybe it is good that she will have a warrior guard.
