Chapter 23

Casey took a deep breath then knocked on the door to Ami’s godly line house, she barely had the third knock in when the door opened wide to reveal an all smiles Ami in a very beautiful and sleek but elegant nightgown.

She herself had worn nightly casual clothes but still she had half expected Ami to be guarded and put on complex clothes, she was happy such wasn’t the case though.

“Come on in” Ami said with a happy voice.

Casey smiled as she stepped in, she really hadn’t known how to feel till this point since she had initially thought Ami would be difficult about the whole thing, but to her wonderful disappointment, here was Ami being really relaxed and accepting and welcoming.

As Casey entered she couldn’t help but notice a contrast in the atmosphere inside, it felt so stormy in here that it reminded her of being at sea.

Soft gales and light gusts blew about at random moments and the smell of rain wafted about randomly as well.

“It wasn’t like this at first” Ami said when she noticed Casey’s wonder filled expression, “The more I settle into my role and use my powers, the more the change occurs in here, I used my powers a lot today, more than I had ever done while in total control, when I got back here, the stormy atmosphere was here too” she said in a way that showed how amazed she herself was.

“Oh about that, someone should’ve warned you ahead seeing as this is a new place” Casey started to explain “Your room or in your case house would change and adapt to you depending on your godly line and godly parent” she said to her host.

Ami already figured that out since the day of orientation though, only she did not expect the change to her own place to be as sudden and so amazing, especially considering one of her so called godly parent was murderous in nature.

She quickly banished the thought of her father before it grew, she did not need any mood spoilers at this moment.

Casey on the other hand received yet another surprise when she got to the place Ami had set up as the dinning just for tonight.

“A candlelight dinner?” She asked Ami who only bit her index finger playfully.

There were elegant candle holders about, holding candles in all their holes giving the place such an amazing aura especially coupled with the random gusts and gales.

As they sat to eat, Casey could only wonder just how much effort Ami had actually put to make it all beautiful as it is. She began to see Ami in a wondrous new light.

Ami with the help of Cliph the air nymph and some other nymphs that are friends of Cliph had set up the dinning place and also set up the food needed for the night.

At first both girls ate in silence, an awkward silence that they were both eager to break, then at the same time both of the spoke, Ami started saying “Look Case…” while Casey started saying “See Ami…”.

They both burst out laughing softly as that happened and when they stopped, Ami talked “I think it’s only right that you should go first” she said to her visitor.

“Right, thanks” Casey said before launching up her mind through her words “I really like you Ami, waayyy more than ordinary, you’re the first person to make me feel at peace with myself, all I wanna do is hold you tight to me, but then I have this condition that makes me destroy whatever I touch or hold, I don’t want to lose you because that is like losing my peace but at the same time I don’t wanna harm or hurt you in any way” she said then paused for a while.

“What we have is special to me, I don’t want to give up on it, I am not going to give up on it, which is why I am going to keep working harder and harder to make sure I rid myself of this curse, so I can really hold you tight to me as I wish to” she finished.

“Casey, are you selfish?” Ami asked in a quavering voice after a short silence.

The question, tone of the question and mood of the question all baffled Casey enough that she did not know how to reply but Ami continued anyways.

“You want to hold me but you can’t, us that reason enough for us not to be together? Why don’t I hold you? Since I can and I wish to, Its all I want to do as well” Ami said to Casey.

As Casey heard those words, tears welled up in her eyes and dropped in rivulets.

“I am not selfish Ami, please hold me, tightly to you and don’t leave me alone, ever” Casey said amidst sobs.

Ami got up from across her and went behind her to hug her from behind, their heads placed side by side.

Casey turned her head to face Ami and Ami immediately met her with a kiss, soft at first then passionate as it continued.

Both girls were hungry for each other but bearing the first incident in mind, they both took it slow and careful.

Ami took Casey by the wrists and led her away towards the bedroom.

“One of the perks of being a goddess is that you get your own quarters and full privacy is assured” Ami said with humor.

Casey chuckled at that, “You do know if there is an intake right now in your godly line, the privacy will go off in a puff of smoke” she said returning the humor.

“Sshhhh” Ami shushed placing a finger to her lips, “Well, Since that is the case, Case, let us enjoy this moment of privacy a little longer while it lasts shall we?” Ami said and drew her close for a kiss.

“And here is to hoping there are many more longer days like this then” Casey said just before their lips met and sealed in what would be a really lengthy and passionate French kiss.
