Chapter 5 - TWO MEN IN A DARK DAMP FOREST

The room became completely silent and Mia stood staring at Diarmuid who seemed to be communicating with the tiny lights that danced around him - yeah she wasn't imagining it. Diarmuid had them as some form comfort to help him keep his emotions in check... a little rage could destroy a lot. "Can I ask a question?" she stated moving towards him and he turned to her. She didn’t understand his expression so she just went ahead to ask her question "Where am I exactly?" this place was like nothing she’d seen before, the people she’d met here were so different from the normal everyday humans she was used too, no matter how she tried to explain it she couldn't deny the fact that it was either she was dead or dreaming. "You don't need to know" his voice appeared calm but it still had a bit of iciness in it which made her rather uncomfortable. "why the hell would Danna and Darren leave her alone with him" She clung to her bag completely blank having no idea where she was or how to get out of here or what the hell was going to happen next. A deep sigh came from Diarmuid and he turned towards her “come" he stated leaving the room and she followed quietly behind. He walked calmly ahead, still trying to figure out why he had listened to Danna. He could allow anything else but why a human - those being were unpredictable and he didn't quite understand them and neither did he wish to... there was only one he could relate with and that was because he felt like they were alike in a way. They walked out of the room into a large field filled with beautiful cherry blossoms and colorful little birds all singing sweetly, she took in the scenery that stood in front her. All this had to be a dream "Human!" Diarmuid called out... feeling impatient and unwilling to wait for her to complete her sight seeing, he was way ahead of her right now "Human?" she muttered... why the hell was he so arrogant. He turned his back at her and walked towards a bridge that laid in the middle of field over a clear blue stream. Mia took hurried steps towards him and headed over the bridge to the other side. A small inn stood at the other side of the bridge decorated with gold strips, it looked like a Japanese traditional house, Lorraine would never believe any of this if she told her. She stared in awe at the environment trying to figure out where the hell she was... it all felt real but she couldn't get herself to believe all that. "Luna!" Diarmuid's calm husky voice called out bringing her back from her thoughts... he was staring at the stream they'd crossed. "what now?" Mia blurted also staring at the stream. The water began to bubble for a while and a female emerged from it causing her to stagger back a bit... in fear, just like everyone here she was blessed with divine beauty and honestly Mia was starting to feel very ugly. Her wavy black hair bounced up as she came out of the water and the young red head couldn’t help but admire her dark silky gown and her fair skin. There was no way any of this was real she thought again, filled with awe and terror. "She's a guest, take care of her" Diarmuid was quite straight forward and brief, he did give any introduction - didn't feel he needed too. He didn't wait for Luna to begin her duties... didn't even try to explain things to her. He turned to leave - Woosh! he was off, leaving Mia behind with Luna. "Hi" Luna stated walking up to Mia, her eyes observing Mia’s every movement "Young Lord has never brought a lady here before" "It doesn't looks like he entertains guest" that just came out and Mia slapped her mouth with the palm of her hands causing Luna to chuckle "Young Lord does look that way, he hardly lets anyone in here but he's gotten a couple of male guest before courtesy of his brother... but you won't really blame him" "Oh?" Mia had a questioning but didn't bother to press any further as Luna gestured towards the inn and walked ahead of Mia towards, who followed behind quietly. "Young miss, you didn't tell me your name" Luna said as soon as we arrived the inn "Mia... Mia Marcella Sapphire but you can just call me Mia"… ' Oh My Goodness! how many times did I say Mia.’ She said to herself feeling a bit awkward. "Mia, that's lovely... I'm Luna and I'll be in charge of you doing your stay here. If you ..." "My stay here?" Mia interrupted, she knew Danna said she'd stay here for a day while she figured out how to send her home but Mia really didn't feel comfortable with the idea at all especially with the fact that they wouldn't tell her were she was. "Is there a problem?" "Yes... I am really confused at this point, where the hell am I?" Luna squinted at Mia looking very confused "What do you mean?" her stare more intense "This is the realm of the faeries" "The what?" Mia spat, this definitely had to be a dream. ****** The forest was dark and damp as usual, just the sound of leaves being trampled under the sole of sturdy boots could be heard. A man wearing a black leather jacket and jean pants stood in front of the plane, his long dark hair packed in a ponytail as he stared at the condemned plane. "Well this is quiet a sight" he muttered turning back to face a man dressed in a black hood. "According to my dark assassins, one of them is still alive... A female" the man dressed in a hood noted, his voice dark and deep without a hint of emotions. "Oh?" the first man licked his lips fascinated and intrigued. "I am guessing I am going to enjoy this one" he grinned... "There is still the issue of my pay you know" "Do as you are told Kyll and you definetly be rewarded handsomely" "I have never doubted you sir, rest assured I'll deliver... just need some time. I'll send out the dark assassins to keep tracking this new muse and bring her to you no problem" he smirked again turning to face the plane one more time. "I will take your word for it then, I however have limited time, so I'd like you to make it as soon as possible. can't delay my plans any longer" "Got it, I'll deal with it relax" Kyll turned to see that the man he spoke to was already long gone and grinned. "Always with the dramatic entrance and exit... he hasn't changed a bit" he passed his hand through his hair, pulling out the band around it as he did, allowing his long black silky hair move freely with the wind.
