Alpha Drake pov

I was looking at the paperwork, and my mind kept leading back to Cassidy. she will be eighteen soon, i could either have her as a mate or pick a chosen mate, i was planning on chosen Cindy, but i knew she would be a horrible luna, she picks on everyone in the pack, but the worse part, she picks on mainly the omegas, I know they are weak, its because they can't shift, they will die from the pain, they usually get their wolves when they turn eighteen, but never shift, the wolves usually stay with them, to keep them company, and sometimes even help them get stronger, but can never shift, I knew i had a few weeks before she turns eighteen, i'm just glad she can't shift because then she would scent me out and realize that we are mates, then i would have to reject her, i don't want a omega as a mate, how will she help protect the pack, how will she handle others trying to get her title? they will kill her, And i can't be around all the time to protect her, im either going to meetings or fighting off rogues that try and get into the territory, If i leave her here all the time, the others will try and kill her, i just can't have an omega as my mate, I’m just going to need to pick a chosen mate, Without even anyone knowing, I’ll just have to check out other alpha's daughters see if they are of age if they are, than i will go and speak with her, if i like her, then i will pick her, she will be strong and will be able to have strong pups, I heard a knock on the door, i knew it was Cassidy i could tell by her violet and ivory scent, my wolf was going nuts, wanting his mate, i had to keep him at bay so he wouldn't come forward and claim her,

‘Come in Cassidy” she walked inside with her work clothes on,

‘Alpha, i'm sorry to interrupted, i was just coming inside to dust and to see what you wanted for dinner,” i nodded looking at her, my eyes went up and down, than i hurried to look away, i didn't want her to see me looking at her like a love sick puppy, she will make me weak, and i will not be weak, not on my watch,

“You can dust Cassidy. but i already had dinner, i made a sandwich and made me some soup, but thank you anyways, I know it's your birthday in a few weeks, you can take that day off so you can relax and enjoy your day, do you have any plans?” i knew i was being to curious of her, i just wanted to know what she had plans for, if any, i knew last year, her mom invited some of the kids, but they came home way to early, i never knew why, i never asked, and i really didn't care, kids will be kids i guess,

“No, not really. mom is going to order pizza for us, than watch movies i don't want anything big, i just want to spend it at home that's all,” i nodded than stuck my nose back into the paperwork, I was hoping she would do the cleaning quickly so she could get out of my office before my wolf Rex takes control. I was fighting him right now. He was yelling àt me to mate ànd Mark her. I had to admit I wanted to taste her lips. The minute she walked into this office, I wanted to smash my lips against hers. f**k it why not. She was almost done cleaning when I got up from my chair. Her back was to me. She was reaching up to dust something on a high shelf. Walking over to her. My hands touched her waist.

“Do you need some help, Cassidy?” She jumped away from me. I couldn't help but smirk. Any female in this pack would have jumped at the chance to have my hands on them, I moved close to her once more. Smashing my lips against hers, I could tell you it was like heaven. Her lips tasted so good to me, I wanted to mate and mark her, But I was the one that broke the kiss, turning my back on her so I wouldn't be able to look at her.

“Get out!”

Cassidy. I said, "Get out, or I will kick you out of my office." Do not come back in here. I'll get someone else to clean my office. Now go.” The girl is only 17. What have I done? I'm only 24, but still, she is not eighteen yet. Shaking my head, I cursed my wolf.

Cassidy pov

What the h3ll was that all about, all i wanted was to just go in there to clean and go home, But instead he had a small conversation with me, than i started cleaning, I kept feeling his eyes on me, So i needed to make sure everything was really clean, i didn't want to get into trouble, I was trying to reach a higher spot when i felt his hands on my waist.

“Do you need help?” He smirked then he kissed me, holy s**t he was a hot kisser, but he pulled away yelling at me to get out, so i hurried out, That ass hole stole my first kiss away from me, i was trying to save everything for my mate, i wanted my first to be his, but instead, the freaking Alpha decided he wanted to kiss me, was he freaking crazy, i am not his mate,
