Alana dressed quickly trying to embrace the day. She was excited to be spending the day with Abraham. He made her feel safe. There was a calmness in the way he spoke with her and the way he touched her. He was gentle and loving and she had missed the touch more than she realised. She had been fine alone. There was no one around her most of the time either afraid because she was a siren or afraid because they knew who her father was. For the first time she was given a clean slate. No one would fear what they did not know. She knew keeping secrets was a dangerous game, but still, she held out hope that it was the right thing to do inm order to keep everyone safe, including Abraham. There was a knock at her door and she could smell him. His scent invited her in and caused her brain to ignite her body on fire. She wanted to feel him all over her. She wanted to feel his lips on her. Clearing her throat she called out to him. "Come in." The door pushed open slowly as she brushed her hair before they left. Her eyes locked on his deep emerald green eyes and she could feel her body spark. He was gorgeous. His long hair pulled into a bun on top of his head. His body was tight and even under his clothes she could see his muscles ripple with each movement. Her mouth was watering at the thought of tracing every chisled line. She shook her head to regain her ability to speak. He was a greek statue. A viking, and the moon goddess had made him for her. "I am almost done."
He was standing there watching her. She took his breath away. Her blue sun dress hung just above her knees and her hair flowed freely down her back in dark curls. "You are absolutely beautiful."
"Thank you. Are you ready? I am excited to get going and seeing part of your kingdom."
He grabbed her hand pulling her close to his side as they made their way down the stairs and out the dorr of the palace. The sun was shining brightly and the air was warm. She stood there for a moment allowing the its rays to heat her soul. "It is always so beautiful on Earth. It is different only having one sun. The colors are so green and vibrant. It just feels so alive here. Where are we going today?"
Abraham loved watching her take everything in. It was like seeing things for the first time through her eyes. He was lost in her words as she spoke not even noticing she was talking directly to him. "I am sorry Hope. I let myself get lost. I was hoping we could go for a picnic. Then I was going to take you around and show you the kingdom. Our kingdom if you accept it." His enthusiasm did not escape her.
She had a warm smile on her face as she took his hand once again in hers. "It sounds delightful. I can not wait. Plus I am starving!"
His chuckle resignated in her soul. She loved the way it sounded and made her feel. Her body reacted to him and she reveled in it. "Please do not tell me you eat like my sister."
"Hahaha, No one and I mean NO ONE eats like Zara!" They were both laughing hard as they walked towards the meadow. Abraham came out into the clearing pulling her along. She stopped in her tracks looking around. "WOW, it is absolutely beautiful here."
He didn't take his eyes off of her as he watched her take it all in. "You are absolutely beautiful. Unlike anything I have ever seen."
"I bring a lot of danger to your kingdom Abraham."
"Call me Abe, please." He led her to a blanket and motioned for her to sit. He had a basket set up filled with food for them to eat. He pulled a few items out preparing them.
"Do I hear a waterfall?"
"Yes just through the trees there is a river and a waterfall. The house I was having prepared for you isn't far from here." He looked away at the the thought of her leaving his suite. "However, I would love for oyu to stay with me if you want to. I kind of like having oyu close by."
"Pretty soon I wil be that annoying house guest that you can't get rid of if oyu are not careful."
"I would never look at you as the annoying house guest that never leaves. I want you to stay." they basked in the sun for a while after they were done eating and took in their surroundings. Alana had never seen anything like it. The birds were chirpping and she was taking it all in. It felt like hours had passed between them as they sat in silence. It was comfortable and peaceful.
"I could stay like this all day."
"I would love that." he brushed her hair fro her face. Closing her eyes at his touch. She took it all in not wanting the moment to stop.
"what if I did want all of this? Then what? How do you keep me or your kingdom safe from my father?" She wasn't sure what answer she wanted, but she knew she didn't want this to end. "could you live with the danger it would put on an entire people counting on you?"
"Without a doubt. Everyone will protect you. It's how we are. We protect our own and you would be our Queen. Yo would be more important than anyone in our kingdom. We would fight and givve our lives for you. It is what we do. I can protect you. I can keep you safe."
"I am in hiding from a terrible father. What about who I am? I am not even sure who I am anymore. How do you want me? I am a mess." he placed a hand under her chin bringing her gaze up to him.
"I would want you no matter what. You are my mate. You are the half of my soul I have been missing." He kissed her lips softly as she opened her mouth giving him more access to explore every crevice. She could taste him on her tongue and her body was coming alive. She felt his hand come to the small of her back as he pulled her in closer to him. Breaking apart gasping for air, he rested his forehead on hers staring deep into her eyes. "That was amazing." He whispered on her lips. He smiled as he held her close not letting her go.
"What if I decide to see where this goes? We take it slow one day at a time. I am not ready to jump into anything. I feel like I am trying to learn who I am right now. Would you be willing to do that?"
"I woud do anything for you. Just promise you will give us a real chance."
"Agreed." She was still in his arms as he crashed his lips on hers once more.
"Can we kiss though? I kind of like kissing you." She shook her head as they continued to explore each others mouths tasting every bit of the sweet mitny toothpaste they used. "I think this is my new favorite thing to do."
Alana was out of breath when she finally pulled away from him. She was losing herself in him fast and she knew it would be hard to resist him the longer they spent time together. The mate bond was working in over drive with them and she could feel the pull to him with every bit of her being. "I think it is my new favorite too. Abe?"
He moaned out his response on her lips taking them in once more. "Mhmm."
She pulled back slightly giving herself room to breathe. "I think we should go before we can't stop." He groaned as he placed his head in her neck. He knew she was right, but he didn't want it to stop. He wanted this more anything else. Sighing he rose to his feet, helping her to his. He was incredibly hard and trying to hide what she did to him. He was trying to maintain control and keep his wolf at bay. He knew this was going to be impossible but he wanted to wait until she as ready for him. He wanted her to accpet the mate bond on her own. He needed her to want it. "Should we bring this stuff back to the palace first?"
"No need. I can mindlink someone to come and clean it up for us. That way we have more time to spend together."
"Must be nice being the King and having everyone at your beck and call."
"Not as good as it is to be Queen and have everyone beg to be at your beck and call. You are my Queen. My life is your life and everything in it belongs to you. I am nothing without you. I was barely living with out you. It's like you woke me up. I would die for you my Queen."
"If my father catches us that may very well happen. I need you t think about that before you decide this is what you want. I am a mess Abe. A complete mess. If he were to come here.... I can't promise he won't try to hurt you or the people in this kingdom and I am really worried about that."
He stopped pulling her into him as he shook his head. "NO." A growl escaped his chest and rumbled out into the warm air."No one is hurting you. No one is getting to you. I won't let it happen. You are safe here my Queen. You are safe with me." Alana couldn't help but feel the heat radiating up her spine at his words. She was letting the sensation take her over as she felt his teeth graze her neck. She was in a daze and not fighting the bond that was growing stronger between them.
