The moring light was shinning brightly into their room kissing Alana on the nose with its gentle warmth. Her eyes began to flutter open as she realised she was in Abrahams arms resting peacefully. She turned slowly facing him as she watched him sleeping. She marveled at her mate taking him in and commtting him to her memory. She knew that the next couple of days would be hard and she had some choices to make. She knew that her father was setting a trap for her and she needed to decide if she should take the bait or not. If she didn't she knew her sister would suffer a tremendous amount for helping her. She needed Faith and couldn't let her suffer because she took a chance on Alana getting out and finding her place in a world that had bee closed off to her before. She gave Alana a chance for a home and love and she needed to get to her and help her have the same even if it cost her everyting she had wanted for so long. her sister deserved the same kind of choices she had been given ans she wasn't about to abandon her sister. She felt her mate stirring beside her. "I don't want to ever not wake up and have you right here next to me. i like this feeling."
She smiled as his words warmed her soul. She loved how he was with her. He gave her so much and she was sad at the thought of what she might have to do in order to save her sister. She tried to push her feelings of sorrow aside. She didn't want him to feel her sadness through their mate bond. She knew it grew stronger with each day. Normally this would not bother her but today, today she knew she had to hide herself from him. He would not want her to go. She knew she was her sisters only chance to survive. She closed her eyes taking him in. His smell was tantalizing and swarming her senses. His touch exciting her. "Me too. I iwsh it could be a good day today. I am so worried about my sister." The mood in the room changed quickly. He could feel the shift between them and he reached up to her face cupping it in his hands.
"Look at me kitten." She tried pulling away from him but her refused to let her go. He sat up pulling her to him and rested his forehead on hers. "No, look at me. We are going to get her out of there. I already have meetings set up all day and we will come up with a plan to rescue her. Now that we are mated and I have the ability to be in the water it opens up more opportunities for us to get her. I have a call into a witch to cast a spell so we can bring some warriors with us. We will figure this out. We have this as long as we are together. We will bring her here or I will die trying. Please, believe me." His eyes bore deep into her soul and she felt the heat from his stare. She knew he was serious and she felt guilty abnout what she was thinking of doing. She didn't want anyone hurt because of her father. She knew if she went to him it would be dangerous but it was the only way she knew to save her sister. She would play out the day and attend the meetings her mate had set up. She kept her plans to herself.
"Ok," It was all she could choke out at the moment. Her voice was betraying her and tears were threaening to spill down her face. Alana only had her sister left in this world and her heart ached for her. "I should go take a shower and get ready for the day. Tomorrow is the full moon and i think my nerves are all over the place right now. I am scared for my sister and my first shift."
Abraham watched her swing her legs off the side of the bed and make her way to the bathroom door. "Don't be so nervous kitten. We will get your sister back and your first shift will go smoothly. I can sense your wolf. My wolf is really excited to meet her."
She paused at the door smiling back at her mate. There was a saddness in her eyes that she tried hiding from him. He could sense there was something more but didn't want to force her to talk to him. "I am excited to meet her and see how our wolves interact. I just wish it wasn't under other circumstances. My sister has to be the priority right now for me." He nodded his head in understanding. He knew her sister would be the one thing he wold need to dleiver to make her happy. He would not give up. He would bring her back.
He made his way to the bathroom to brush his teeth. He watched her shower for a few minutes contemplating joining her but feeling the moment was not right. He wanted her to focus on the task at hand and help plan a rescue. "We will get her back. I won't give up until she is with you. What about her mate?" It was something that he was curious about. Being mated, forced or not, for a wolf would mean certain death for both mates. He wasn't sure if sirens were the same.
She washed her face before answering him. She knew not many people knew about sirens. Most of their existence was a secret. "It isn't the same for sirens as it is for wolves. She was forced into the mate bond she can still reject him and be alright. It would hurt still but she would come out fine. Sirens do not die when their mate is separated. Although, they can go crazy. My father proves that. However, if she rejects him she will be fine. He isn't as bad as what my father was trying to do. I do think he actually loves her but I don't think she loves him. Not the same way." She paused for a moment allowing the water to warm her body. She thought back through the times she had seen her sisters mate. He in all essence had bought her but, in a way, he had saved her from a far worse fate. He was not abusive or angry with her. "Maybe she will want him to come too. I don't know. However, it is a real possibility."
"whatever it takes, we will do it." She could feel his sincerity in his words. She closed her eyes submerging herself in the warm water that washed away her anxiety. She knew she needed to get out and face the day. She braced her hand on the wall feeling the cool marble beneath her hands. She could feel the bile rising in her at the thought of losing her sister to her father. Every part of her wanted to release. The years of torment at her fathers hands washing away with each drop of water. She could feel the pain and anger slipping away down the drain. She wouldn't give up and she knew Abraham wouldn't either.
She got out of the shower grabbing a towel and drying her body off. She was deep inside herself not able to push them away. There was so much pressure building she could feel a headache forming at the back of her head. The reality of everything slamming into her like a sledge hammer. She fell to the ground trying to catch her breath. It felt like something was sitting on her. Her eyes began to glow am irridecent purple and she could feel a voice in her head pushing through. Don't fall for his trick! It is a trap! He knows where you are Alana! He knows you are Queen now. Do not come back! I am fine. My mate and I are coming to you. We escaped. You need to cut all ties to me and our father. I will see you soon! Alana pushed herself to the wall trying to gasp for air as she closed her eyes. Her sister was coming to her. She felt arms wrap around her and pull her to a rock hard chest. Her eyes opened no longer glowing their purple color. "My sister is coming to us. She escaped with her mate!"
"Where is she? I will have warriors meet her and bring them both back safely." Alana shook her head.
"She didn't say, but, she said she was coming to me. I have to cut ties with my father and everyone. I have to do it right away. Maybe we can have warriors meet them at the gates of Ithica and see to it they are safe once here?" Abrahams eyes rolled back only showing the whites. He was mindlinking warriors to rush to the gates of Ithica and ensure her sisters safety. She reached out grabbing his arm. "My father knows where I am. It is only a matter of time before he comes. Especially now that my sister excaped. He won't give up." There was an unspoken understanding betwewen them as they took in the weight of what she said.
