Chapter Eleven The factory was barely much warmer than the temperature outdoors, and though the sun had set long ago it was considerably darker. Carrie searched for the light switch. She found the panel, but no matter which switch she flicked, no lights came on. Maybe the police had cut the electricity to the place. The devices Carrie had seen moving remained frozen in position where they had stopped mid-dance. They stood between the shelves of boxes at the front of the cavernous factory floor.
