Chapter Seven

Ersa:

"I, Ersa Ansian reject you, Ezra Ansian Alpha of the Moon Light Pack," I said with a slight tremor woven within my words as I refused to make eye contact with my mate.

I had convinced myself that now was the time to speak the heartbreaking words, words that would set me free and allow my mate to freely marry my younger sister Deia.

Ezra glared down at me as I clenched my hands together nervously as I attempted to focus on anything but his heated gaze. I could practically feel his breath on my neck as he leaned in close and whispered in my ear.

"Is that what you truly desire, Mate?" Ezra said with an alluring tone that made my knees grow weak.

I gulped as his words sunk in and my wolf began stirring within me demanding to be in my mates’ arms.

I could tell that Ezra was simply toying with me as there was no way that he was intending to claim me as his own. It had almost broken my heart to see my mate openly avoid me over the last week. His cold eyes were forever ingrained in my mind as they gave off a resentful aura towards me. I didn’t know why Ezra hated me so much and I simply didn’t care to find out.

I had been working up the nerve the past few days to finally confront the man who now stood before me, others wouldn’t consider approaching him. Ezra wasn’t my Alpha and he most certainly wasn’t the boss of me, if he thought that he could command me as he did with his dogs then he was poorly mistaken.

“Yes, it is,” I finally said after a moment.

Within moments without realizing it Ezra had closed the distance between us, pressing his heated body against mine. A quivering breath escaped my lips as my full breasts pressed against his slightly sweaty chest. Ezra had chosen not to wear a shirt that day, instead, he was sporting a pair of tight Jeans’ that seemed slightly too snug.

This seemed to please him as he enclosed his lips around the soft spot on the base of my neck. The motion made me wrap my arms around his neck for support as my legs suddenly became weak.

“Ezra!” I sweetly moaned his name again.

His name tasted like honey on my lips, I couldn’t seem to get enough of it, and I wanted more. Ezra groaned against my neck as he greedily placed his hands on my ass and lifted me off the ground and wrapped my legs around his waist.

My body was a hormonal mess and completely overcome with lust towards the man who was my mate that I had completely forgotten why I had hunted him down or what we were talking about just moments before. My mind was a spiralling mess, my thoughts were scattered, and a heavy fog was overcoming my mind.

I squealed loudly as Ezra greedily grazed his extended canines against the soft spot on my neck. The sensation instantly made me wet and Ezra could sense it. He began to grind his crotch into my nether regions. I couldn’t be any more grateful at that moment that I had chosen not to wear panties that day.

I squealed at the sensation and struggled to find my words, but I was too distracted by his hand moving to his belt as he swiftly removed it. Ezra was breathing raggedly against my neck as he forcefully unbuttoned his jeans and aggressively tore the steel button clean off the fabric. The button clattered to the hardwood floor as Ezra pried his jeans off his fit form.

“Ezra,” I moaned as something sprung forward and pressed greedily against the moist spot between my legs.

I’d become blinded from the pain for a moment as I unconsciously extended my canines and buried them deeply into a mound of flesh that had been in front of me.

I cried out slightly as I tasted Ezra's fresh blood on my tongue as I bit down on him rougher. I didn’t care that I was biting him at that moment, it was helping distract me from the pain that originated from my nether regions and seemed to spread to every inch of my body.
