Jen was planning on telling Shawn about the baby tonight, and she was planning on talking with James. She was getting ready to leave and go his place since he was still kind of ignoring her when a knock on the door startled her. She was just about to pull it open without checking who it was when she suddenly remembered Jack was still out there. With everything that had been going on she had completely forgotten about him.
