Chapter 12 “This is incredible,” Ivy called out as she hoisted herself up into the attic. She sneezed against the dust she’d disturbed that now swirled against a slanting kaleidoscope of rainbow colors. The morning sun streamed through a small round, stained-glass window in the attic, casting prisms of color across the wooden floor. “Amazing,” she murmured, thinking about how she could render this on canvas. She reached into her pocket for her phone and snapped a photo for later reference.
