“You’re back!” As Ivy bounded into the house, Shelly swooped her arms around her. Regardless of whether this was temporary or not, Ivy was thrilled and relieved to see her. Shelly looked a lot more relaxed than the last time she’d seen her. Poppy’s face was wreathed with a smile.
“I finally figured it out, life is better in Summer Beach.” Shelly laughed and flashed a keychain with that logo. She took a step back, holding Ivy’s hands. “When Poppy said you’d gone to the hospital with dragon lady next door, I knew I’d been gone too long. Soon as I turned my back, you started cavorting with the enemy, huh?”
