CHAPTER 12: SOUND OF DEATH
It's been a month since my stay here in Vea. Everything is going well, I suppose. The villagers were kind and showed their hospitality well. I've never felt this special before. Everyone bows before me. I eat three meals a day and I can get whatever I want. All I have to do is ask Cloud.
Cloud is assigned to be by my side whenever Xander is gone. Like a personal assistant. His hair is white and his eyes are blue. He has a pleasing personality too. But sometimes I feel like something is odd about him.
Xander is gone for a week, he rarely visits too. He'd sometimes ask me for dinner and we would sleep separately. We rarely talk and the only topic is about my welfare. I want to know how he is doing or ask if there's something wrong but I'm too afraid to do that.
