Chapter 5

Red's Pov:

I jumped from one tree to another, the moon is at its highest peak tonight, it serves as my light in this dark night. I landed gracefully and had to shake off my pants from the leaves that got stuck, I inhaled a lungful of air and smiled to myself.

Ahh... I feel relieved. I feel better.

I look up and sigh, jumped on the nearest and biggest tree and stood up on one of its branches, the moon seems to be bigger in where I'm standing. The sky's painted dark blue and black, the forest covered in a dark fog that humans will surely cower away. Of course, whoever is outside in this forest would be terrified to enter because of the heavy fog, what's within is unknown.

People usually fear what they do not know and what they haven't seen, that's why supernaturals' existence is a myth to mortals.

I do not know what time it is right now, I choose to leave my watch in my room. Ava is probably asleep right now, I wonder how Maggie is. I haven't seen the two of them today.

I stayed still, staring at the moon wondering.

Wondering about who I am, how old I really am, who are my parents, what are they like, if I have a best friend before. More importantly, what happened. What happened to me?

I run both my hands on my face is exasperation. Too many questions yet not a single answer.

Red... is my real name Red? If not, what is then?

Shaking my head, I sat down and leaned on the tree.

Will I ever remember who I am? My heart thundered at the thought of remembering.

I'm both hopeful and afraid of what I remember.

"RED!"

"What?" I ask Ava, she glared at me and suddenly pinched my cheeks. "H-he-oy!" She grinned at me and let go of my cheeks after she pulled it and then slap it slowly. What in the world? "What's wrong with you?" I hissed caressing my abused cheeks.

"Your cheeks are so cute and chubby. Can't help it." I immediately step away from her; I don't know what's with her so I'd rather stay away in case she pulled my cheeks again like some elastic.

"Red!" My eyes widen and I smile upon seeing Maggie.

It's so great to see the two of them in this morning especially Maggie because she's carrying a tray of food!

"Let me help—"

"Nah, it's fine. Let's go to your room, we have to talk to you." I'm left staring at them when they hurriedly walk towards my room. I just shrug and followed them, Ava is already sitting on my bed while Maggie is placing the food on the table. The bed has a small maroon table with chair, I especially ask Ava for a table and chair because I tend to eat in the middle of the night.

Maggie smile at me and pulled me to sit, "Let's eat!" She beamed. I shake my head but the moment I look at the food in front of me, I almost drool. Moon goddess, this is heavenly. I look at Maggie and Ava on the bed and they're at the floor sitting while having their own plate. They look up to me and smile, "eat already Red." Maggie ordered. I stood up, grab my own plate, and sit in front of them. The three of us are in a circle while having our own plates and three plates of dishes in front.

"What are these gifts of the moon goddess?" I pointed out the plate of food covered in scrambled eggs drizzled with ketchup and mayonnaise.

Ava handed me the plate I was pointing, "this is Japanese Omurice, Japanese style fried rice omelet, I cooked the scrambled flatly in a separate pan that's why it looks like that." She explained, I nod my head and took a spoonful of the fried rice, my eyes closed automatically. I turn to Ava whose looking expectant at me, it's obvious she's the one who cooked this all. "How was it?"

"Food," I wipe the side of my mouth using the back of my hand, I grinned at her, "food cooked by you tastes heavenly like always."

"I know right!!!" Maggie screamed and started eating, I did the same thing because from the way she eats I have a feeling if I don't eat anytime soon Maggie will finish all of the foods. Well, it seems like I'm not the only heavy eater here and Ava's cooking is addicting so safe to say I understand why Maggie acts like this is her last meal.

"Gawd!" Exclaimed Maggie with her eyes closed, I cringe, the side of her mouth has some sauce from the honey grilled pork chop. I laugh when Ava looks at Maggie clearly disgusted.

“Maggie, have some ethics while eating.” Ava reminded her while I keep eating.

“Ethics? Maybe later but right now, I say f**k that because I’m so hungry. Ava, you don’t know what I suffered yesterday so please, let me be.” Maggie dramatically begged then stuffed her mouth with food. “Food is life,” she added. I laugh at her and handed Ava some food.

“So, what are you two doing here?” I ask after the three of us are done eating, Maggie was the one who took the try back.

“You sit here again,” my forehead crease, Maggie pulled me up to sit on the bed along with Ava, the three of us are really close I can imagine our faces switching. “We have something to tell you...” Maggie whispered, out of curiosity I leaned closer to listen she is about to say, whatever secret she is about to reveal to me. Seems like a huge secret. Maggie keeps on glancing at Ava with a silly smile, my forehead knitted upon their exchange of smile. Gah, creepy.

“You know what, just tell me after that exchange of creepy smiles.” I deadpanned and lean away but Maggie beat me to it by pulling my face closer to her, my eyes widen. This woman! I tried to distance myself from here but she deathly stares at me. Does she even know how weird it is that our faces are so close we’re almost kissing? Obviously, she doesn’t.

“Shhh Red! Stay still, I want you to calm down to avoid fainting after I tell you what the secret is.” I stilled and looks at her incredulously.

“You’re mated?” I guessed, she quirked her brows at me tediously. I laugh, “the thought just crossed my mind since you are Mia’s mom and you never mentioned about her father, so, I thought---“

“Red,” Ava’s voice held a warning, I immediately stop blabbing and look at her, using her lips, she pointed Maggie. Seeing the dejected look on Maggie, I felt guilty.

Seriously Red, how insensitive can you be?! I almost hit my forehead. Why can’t I mind the things I said sometimes? I cleared my throat to gain Maggie’s attention when her eyes landed on me from being lost in her own thought, I smile at her. “I’m sorry, it wasn’t my intention to sound---“

“It’s fine, Red. I know you mean no harm,” her smile didn’t make me feel any better. Despite her smile, her eye tells a different story, I can see it. “Anyway, let’s not spoil the fun!” She beamed, “Red, behold, the secret I’m about to tell you is very very very very---“

“Yes Maggie, it’s important,” I cut her off with a sigh. Goodness.

“I’m just trying to get on your nerves,” she smiled like Cheshire cat, “Ava is pregnant.” She announced.

I roll my eyes at her. “That’s it? That’s the secret?” I thought it’s something more explo… My eyes widen, slowly, my head turns to Ava’s direction. “Holy… YOU’RE—hmmp!!”

“Wow you didn’t faint, Red, but tone down your voice, it’s a secret,” Maggie muttered to me. I nod my head stuck staring at Ava’s smiling face.

Beta, I mean, Charles is right! Ava is pregnant, that means Ava needs to be extra careful now, oh, she can’t go shopping for too long, she can’t wear those killer shoes, she mustn’t be reckless too, it’s different now. Sheesh, I need to look after her more, I must keep an eye on her, Ava is quite stubborn and willful if she wishes too.

“Get off the bed, Maggie,” I ordered and stood up, fixed my bedsheets, and pile the pillows on the side and place my favorite hotdog huge pillow.

“W-what? Why would I?”

I gave her a death stare, “you’re too comfortable sitting there while Ava is sitting on the side of the bed, get off.” I pushed her off and carefully pulled Ava to sit in the middle of the bed where it’s safer. I smile at Ava, she smiles too though it looks more like an awkward one, but it doesn’t matter.

“The heck, Red?!” Maggie complained laid on the floor, I divert my eyes at her to find her caressing her butt. I grin and she glared at me. “Bitch.” I laugh and helped her stand up. Well, I guess I pushed her really hard she almost kissed the floor.

“I’m---“Someone knocks on the door interrupting what I’m about to say, I look at the door and Maggie, “sorry,” I told her and opened the door after, Owen greeted me, he looks nervous. “Owen? Are you alright?” I ask.

“Miss Red, the Alpha wants to have your presence on his office right now,” he informed, he's scratching his neck uncomfortably.

My forehead crease, Alpha Nico wants to talk to me? In his office?

“Oh, okay then, let’s go.” I said and turn to Maggie and Ava, “stay here and wait for me.”

“What? No, we’re coming with---“

I shake my head, “don’t worry about me, Alpha Nico just wants to talk to me over something I ask him about.” I told them. Lies. I already have an idea of why the Alpha wants to talk to me. It’s not that hard to guess considering that it happened recently.

“Are you sure?” Ava asks I smiled at her.

“Of course, you worry about me when I’ll be facing your mate? Do you think Alpha Nico will execute me?” I feigned horror, Ava rolls her eyes at me.

“I might ask him to.”

My eyes widen but I eventually laugh, “savage, Luna Ava.” I teased.

“Stop that Red, shoo shoo, go away!” She gestured for me to leave and I obliged shaking my head with a small smile after I closed the door my smile disappears.

Third Person’s Omniscient:

Alpha Nico, Beta Charles along with the members of Gemini and the Shaw family are waiting patiently for Red to arrive, Beta Charles and Alpha Nico are wearing a calm expression despite the situation and the current predicament of Gemini. When the door of the Alpha’s office opened revealing Red who looks calm but when her eyes landed on Gemini’s way, she looks clearly surprised. Red’s eyebrows quirked in question, she knows Gemini will be in the office as well but to see her all bruised and pale, she is genuinely surprised. Gemini looks battered that Red feels pity for the woman, she dislikes her still but to see her bruised like these doesn’t sit well with Red.

“Alpha Nicolo,” she greeted and bowed, “you ask for my presence, Alpha?” she asks.

Nicolo stares at Red, scrutinizing her expression along with her body movement that might indicate what she really feels about the situation but the woman looks calm and collected. He’s impressed, not only is Red a good fighter and physically capable and her speed in human form in unbelievable, but she also knows how to act in this kind of situation, Nico wonders if Owen, one of the pack’s fighter told Red the reason why she is asked to his office, if he did tell her, she is entirely different from what he expected her reaction to be. He expected her to be agitated at least but Nico is wrong, safe to say he expected that. The woman, his mate’s best friend from Tirada is undeniably extraordinary in more ways than one.

Nico almost smiles, his mate is surely safe with her.

“Do you have any idea why you are here, Red?” He asks, Red raised her head to look at him, directly in his eyes and slowly shakes her head.

“At first I thought I have an idea Alpha but, I might be wrong about it.” Red’s answer is vague. It’s better to play along whatever these strangers along with Gemini wants.

“Red, Miss Shaw here said you beat her up last night.” Announced Alpha Nico. Red’s head fell, she smirked without anyone seeing it. Beat her up last night huh. She was right, last night when she went out because she was hungry and decided to run, she knew someone was following her. So it was her. Great, how great. Red thought.

Red raised her head and look at Gemini, she does look pitiful, no, maybe it’s good if Red actually beat her up to make the accusations reality and if she would beat her up, Red will make sure she won’t be able to stand in the next few days that not even her werewolf genetic healing will be able to help her. Red almost cringe when she actually felt pity for Gemini just a moment ago.

“I beat you up?” Red asks, innocently.

Beta and Alpha look at each other, they both catch the sharpness in her tone despite her asking that innocently.

This woman really is something. Charles thought stopping himself from smiling, he will surely enjoy watching the show and he knows even the Alpha will do the same.

“You dare act innocent after what you did to my daughter?!” The woman beside Gemini who looks identical to her shouted at Red, the woman’s eyes are glaring at her, if her eyes could kill Red will surely lifeless on the ground right now, unfortunately for her and luckily for Red, Gemini’s mother could only glare.

Red scoffed.

“Act innocent? I don’t need to act innocent because I am innocent of all your allegations.” She replied with her arms crossed and jutted chin.

“You think so highly of yourself because you are the Luna’s friend!!!” screamed the man on Gemini’s left side, he’s giving Red the same glare like Gemini’s mother.

Red’s head tilted to the side, “who are you?” she asks, she doesn’t want to assume of this man’s position on Gemini’s life. Uncle? Father? Grandfather?

“I am her father! How rude you sound.” The man snapped. Red caught Gemini’s evil smile at her then returned to her pitiful act. How pathetic. Red shakes her head.

“What’s rude about asking who you are? You’re so stingy, no offense.” She retorted with a shrug. “Anyway, how sure are you that I am the one who beat her up?”

“She told us.” Gemini’s mother firmly answered.

Red smiled. “Of course you believe her.”

“My daughter is not a liar.” Snapped Gemini’s father.

Red chuckles lightly, “I really want to know the reason why you blindly believe your daughter without proof. Is it because you love her as parents or---“

“What do you want to say?!” Gemini’s mother yelled. Red couldn’t help the roll of her eyes. What an unfortunate parent they are if they don’t know who their daughter is. She’s a double-faced wolf whose using her parents love for her to defend her and her schemes. Well, if her parents are her accomplice then Red would no longer wonder why Gemini has the confidence.

“Mind your tone, have you forgotten that you are in my office?” Alpha Nicolo hissed because Red is looking at Gemini and family. She clearly saw the roll of Gemini’s eyes, her father gritting his teeth and her mother’s glare, all their expression’s changes are done subtly that if you are not looking carefully you wouldn’t think they dislike how Alpha Nicolo interrupted them.

What a family they are. Red turns to Alpha Nicolo, he’s looking serious that Red wonders if he caught what they did, is he aware that this family questions his and Ava’s position as Luna and Alpha?

“Sorry Alpha.” Gemini’s parents calmly apologize.

“I won’t say sorry since I’m not the hysterical one here,” Red remarked.

Nicolo and Charles look at each other once again, compared to the Shaw family, Red is calm despite their raised voices. Both of them are extremely satisfied with how the show is going, Red is handling the situation pleasantly and calmly.

“I won’t beat around the bush anymore, Mr. and Mrs. Shaw, since you are so confident about what your daughter told you,” Red started approaching the Shaw family, her stride confident and her chin jutted proudly like she is in a court defending her own innocence. “tell me, what could be my reason of beating her up? As you may have known, I am new here in the pack, newly arrived, and only know several members of the pack. Why would I suddenly attack your daughter?”

Charles couldn’t help the small smile while looking at Red’s interrogation of the Shaw family. The table seemed to turn, it was supposed to be Red being questioned of the accusation against her and not the other way around.

Mrs. Shaw scoff. “We are not mind reader to know your motive but my daughter is an excellent she-wolf compared to a human whose faster than the average, it’s no question that you are nothing compared to her.”

“My wife is right; you are obviously jealous of my daughter.” Added Mr. Shaw.

Silence falls upon the room, not until Red bursts out laughing, Charles grimaced and so is Nico. They had goosebumps upon what Gemini’s parents say about her, wow, their belief of their daughter is… unbelievable on their part.

Excellent she-wolf? Charles thought. More like an excellent stalker of Knight. Charles almost laughs out loud but he settled in a small contained chuckle. His face turning red from stopping himself from laughing.

“Wait… pfft…” Red stuttered from laughing, “your… daughter? Excellent?” Red laugh out loud again, Red heaved a deep sigh and lightly slap her own cheeks. “Hoo hoo! Okay…” Red smiled professionally after her outburst, “I agree about one thing that you said, I cannot be compared to your daughter.” Red admitted.

Gemini raised her brows while parents are looking smug, satisfied that this woman knows she’s nothing compared to their daughter.

Nico and Charles look at one another for the third time. What could this woman be up to?

“It’s great that you know your place.” Gemini’s mother stated with a mocked smile.

Red returned the insulting smile. “Of course, I believe that the two of us can't be compared and our names be placed in one sentence. Mrs. Shaw,’ Red look at Gemini from head to toe, “I am not good at back stabbing other people like she does,” Red announced, the Shaw family’s eyes widen while Charles and Nico straightened. “I am not as proud as she is because she believes that Knight Rochester got her back. I am—“

“SHUT UP!” For the first time since Red entered, Gemini finally spoke. Her eyes are glaring at her. “You… you are framing me! How dare you slander me in front of our Alpha?!” Gemini is hysterical, Gemini is obviously panicking that she will spill all that she heard yesterday, and Red will gladly do so.

Red fake an innocent expression with her index finger on her chin. “Frame you? Slander you in front of our Alpha? Oh wait,” she acts as if she remembers something, “Alpha? Wow, you recognize Alpha Nicolo as Alpha?” Her head tilted to the side, feigning an innocent face and enjoying the fear in Gemini’s face. “Didn’t you said that yesterday that Alpha Nicolo doesn’t deserve being an Alpha?”

A growl sounded from where Alpha Nicolo is. Red turn her attention to where the Beta and Alpha are, the Alpha is not standing and his eyes turned gold, hands formed in a fist, and is breathing heavily.

“I dare you to repeat what you said, Miss Red.” Alpha Nicolo’s voice is deeper than his usual voice and once again, just like yesterday with Knight, she didn’t feel fear nor the need to submit.

Red bowed her head slightly, “What I said is the truth, I dare not lie to you Alpha Nicolo especially if Ava is involved.”

“Liar! She’s lying! Alpha—“

“SILENCE!” Alpha Nicolo growled, Gemini visibly whimpered, so is her mother and father, Red saw that even Beta Charles tensed. “Speak.”

Red nods her head. “Yesterday while I’m on my way to the kitchen to grab some food, I heard her talking with two other women, she was—“

“Alpha she’s lying!!” Gemini begged Red and Alpha Nicolo snapped their eyes on her, she looks petrified not just from Alpha Nicolo but also from Red’s deadly glare. Gemini can’t explain it but when this woman is mad just like yesterday, not only does she emit the scent of a werewolf but also utterly terrifying, she suddenly has a dangerous aura when mad, she became overwhelming. Like an Alpha female. “I… I…” Gemini gulped and tried to think straight, she can’t be defeated by this half-blood, she’s just a half-blood while she is a full-fledged wolf. Red is unable to shift into her wolf like what she heard while she can. Her parents are right, Red is nothing compared to her, if so, why is she so intimidated of her? “Alpha, I have witnesses that Red beat me! She… she hates me because I… I scolded her of being careless yesterday.”

Red laugh lightly, despite being petrified out of her wits this woman was still able to think of an alibi. Amazing.

Alpha Nicolo looks at her while she just shrugs. “I say we call for those witnesses.”

“Red…” Charles called.

Red smiled at Beta Charles, he looks genuinely concerned but Red is confident, the truth will prevail and she will unmask this Gemini’s masked of being pitiful.

“Call for the witness.” Alpha Nicolo ordered.

“They’re outside Alpha, I… already called for them a while back.”

“Girl’s scout are we? Always ready?” Red mocked.

“Silence!” Alpha Nicolo yelled. Red zipped her mouth, she doesn’t fear Alpha Nico, yes, but he deserves respect and she will give him that. He has authority right now and as the culprit of the crime, she will shut up, for now.

Minutes later, two familiar women entered the office, just like yesterday, they look scared, Red noticed they’re paler than yesterday.

“Speak.” Alpha Nicolo ordered.

The woman who almost begged her yesterday bowed in respect and fear. “Alpha, she, Miss Red indeed beat Gemini yesterday because she was scolded by Gem.”

Alpha Nico turned to the other woman, “Is she telling the truth?” He asked and the woman nodded, “Did you present yourself here of your own accord?” He asks again, this time, it took several seconds and glance at Gemini’s way before the two women nodded.

Alpha Nico seemed to calm down now but he’s demeanor is tensed. He turned to Red. “Gemini Shaw has witnesses and they all claim that you did beat her, you know that you are most likely guilty of this Red, you’re aware of this aren’t you?” Red nod her head.

“I am, Alpha Nico, however, even if they have witnesses against me, I am not guilty.” Red answered, she then looks at the two women whose unable to meet her eyes, “It doesn’t take a genius that these two are afraid, of whom? We don’t know Alpha, however, I would like to tell you two that because you are an accomplice of Gemini Shaw’s crime, I ask Alpha Nico to punish you accordingly once the truth is out.”

“Nonsense!!” shouted Gemini’s father.

“SILENCE!” Alpha Nico sighs, “continue…”

“Thank you Alpha, as I was saying, I heard Gemini Shaw telling these two that Ava doesn’t deserve being a Luna because she’s weak, that you do not deserve being the Alpha either. I guess she was trying to say that it was luck that brought you in your position, Knight Rochester stepping down because of his mate’s death was the only reason why you are now in your position.” She smirked at Gemini’s wide eyes, it was intentional, Red did add those statement to worsen the crime. Even if those words didn’t come out of Gemini’s mouth, it is the way it is.

Red dare not look up to meet Alpha Nico’s eyes because she’s certain that he’s mad, really mad that he could kill Gemini right now.

Red keeps on looking at Gemini’s direction, her parents are guarding her. Tsk. It’s now confirmed, even Gemini’s parents know her schemes based on their expression. “Lies, she’s lying Alpha. Please, believe me.”

“Her story is more believable Alpha since she has witnesses with her. I think I’m lucky though that the spell— I mean witch, Claudia Luxes happened to perform a watching over spell on the entire pack yesterday and is recorded in her crystal ball what happened. We can call for her right now to confirm what really happened yesterday and even the beating Miss Shaw received.” Red stated.

“What? The witch? The witch did that?” Red heard the two witnesses whispering to each other. Red smirk. Even Gemini is clearly scared and surprised by what she just announced.

“Call for—“

“ALPHA!” The witnesses shouted and kneeled in unison. “We beg for your mercy Alpha. We… We will confess the truth now; it was… It was Gem who asked for our help last night to beat her up. She said that Miss Red will have to pay for going against her yesterday. We’re sorry Alpha! We’re sorry!” The two even bowed on the floor.

Alpha Nico growled. “What was Gemini Shaw telling you last night. Speak the truth and I might lessen your punishment!”

“It was exactly what Miss Red said. She was insulting you, especially the Luna. She… she also only recognizes her cousin Miss Mhelanie as the Luna, Alpha.” The confessed.

“LIAR! YOU TWO ARE LIARS!” Gemini cried but whimpered in fear when Alpha Nico growled louder this time.

“YOU DID NOT ONLT DISRESPECT ME BUT ALSO MY MATE!” Red has to close her eyes and cover her ears because of how loud Alpha Nico’s voice is. “YOUR LUNA!” In the blink of an eye, Alpha Nico is in front of Gemini and her parents, his body hovering theirs because the three of them are slumped on the floor.

Red looks at Charles when he appeared beside her, he has a serious expression. “Are you alright?” He asks. Red nods her head slowly. “Now I know why you are so intense on them, Ava is involved.” He smiles at her.

Red returned the gesture. “I warned her, Charles, there’s a price to pay for insulting Ava.” And Red knows that Gemini will pay, dearly.

“Spread my word, Gemini Shaw will now be banished from—“

“Nico,” Red snapped her eyes on the owner of the familiar cold voice, it’s Knight Rochester who just arrived. His cold expression infuriated Red to the core especially because she knows why he’s here.

Gemini sobbed loudly, Red closed her eyes, it’s irritating her, Gemini and him are irritating her.

“Knight, why are you here?” Alpha Nico asks, his golden eyes seem to be glaring at Knight. Alpha Nico might already have an idea why Knight Rochester is here and Red knows it displeased the Alpha.

“I ask you to renounce your punishment.” She was right. The damned iceberg is indeed here to save the back stabbing wolf. Red lowly growled when her eyes and Gemini’s met, Gemini and her parents have a proud expression on their faces.

“You know very well that her disrespect to me and my mate deserves death as punishment, banishment is the least I could do in respect to you Knight.” Alpha Nico hissed. Red can’t imagine the current predicament that he is in right now, saving his and Ava’s dignity as rulers or his relationship with Knight Rochester.

If only Knight Rochester isn’t entangled with the back-stabbing family, things would have been easier. Red’s blood boil in anger, she gets it, she knows Knight could be doing all these as respect to Mhelanie but Red can’t accept that between this family who insulted Ava, her best friend and also his sister, he would choose what was only left of Mhelanie, if only her relatives we’re pleasant but they’re not. Damn it!

“I will take the punishment on her stead, Nico.” Knight stare at his best friend, Nico couldn’t believe what he’s hearing.

“You want me to banish you?” He asked unbelievably.

“If you see fit—“

“Fool.” Red couldn’t help but butt in. She looks at Knight from head to toe, he looks tired and pale from yesterday. There was something about his eyes today that made Red feel sad for him, Knight’s eyes found her burning ones. Compared to her glaring eyes, his eyes are exhausted. “Fool.” She repeated. “Take the punishment on her stead? Seriously?” She looks at Alpha Nico, “Gemini framed me in beating her but she’s not punished for that yet, her punishment for framing me, I guess I have a say in that matter, am I right Alpha Nico?”

Alpha Nico nodded his head, no one spoke. “If you are to banish Knight Rochester, why don’t Gemini follow?”

“You—!”

“How about me?” She smirked at Gemini, “are you not happy of being with Knight Rochester? I mean, you seem to always rely on him so I thought you will appreciate being banished from the pack with him.”

“Red…” Alpha Nico warned.

“I will let Alpha Nico decide on the matter of disrespect, but, the matter of framing me I’d like to decide for her punishment,” she looks at Knight whose looking at her too, “I promise it won’t involve banishing her, Knight.” She smiles at him.

“Get out.” Alpha Nico hissed and turn to sit, Gemini then looks at her and smirk, Red couldn’t help herself from smirking at her in return.

“Please keep smirking, Gemini, it might inspire me in deciding your punishment.” She taunted. Gemini growled, “and you those bruise suits you well.’ She added and left because she might be able to stop herself from laying a hands on Gemini if that happens, even Red doesn’t know if she will be able to stop herself.
