The next morning with the sun falling through the curtains and right at me, fresh and bright, I woke up with a big yawn and jolt up when that our small moment yesterday flashes into my mind and I feel my cheeks heating up. Talon dropped me home later that evening and instead of bombarding me with questions, dad let it go.
