“What is it that you like about my soul so much?” she said standing up. “I know you don’t like me, so I know you’re probably going to kill me and use my soul right away.” She said looking at the door. “Why don’t you bring me, John, back, and then we’ll talk about my soul.” She said closing her eyes. “I will not agree to anything until I have my family back.” She said looking back at Dremis. “So there is your choice.”
Dremis put his finger to his mouth, he looked over at Drake. “So you just want your kids together and with me, is that what you are agreeing to so I can have your soul?” he waited for her to respond, he knew Anabel would never agree to that.
“Yes that is what I’m saying, but if you try and pull any tricks, I’ll gut you like a fish you understand me?” she said looking at him and then to Drake. “Also we don’t do what you want for three days.” She said looking down at James. “I don’t know what you plan to do to me and my soul; I want three days with my boys just in case.”
“Fine, fine, fine,” Dremis said crossing his arms. “But after those three days, I expect you not to fight me on this, and you embrace your new life.” He half-smiled at her. “So three days it is.” He said disappearing, John appeared on the bed, he cried as soon as he saw Anabel.
Anabel laid James down, he was asleep, and she picked John up and got him quiet in seconds. She felt better knowing she had her boys, she even made a deal to give Angel’s time to figure out how to get her out of there all in one piece. She didn’t want to become this evil person Dremis said he wanted to make her into.
Anabel laid down with her sons, she wanted to get them as comfortable as possible. “I don’t know what’s going to happen to me, but I want you to know I love you.” She said kissing each of her sons on the forehead.
Closing her eyes, she thought about Carlos, Samuel said they’d wiped his mind and he wouldn’t remember her or anything about her that made her sad. She wanted to call out to him but knew she was probably crazy. “So this is what the Angels think is best for us.” She said stroking John’s face. “We’ll get through this don’t worry.” She said closing her eyes again, this time she drifted off to sleep with the twins.
Anabel woke up to the symbols of hell hurting on her stomach, she tried rubbing them, but it just made it worse. She didn’t want Dremis to know she was having pains there, but she wanted to know why.
Getting up off the bed, she walked over to the door. Half expecting the door to be locked, she twisted the knob, the door opened. Looking down the hallway she half expected someone to be standing there, but there wasn’t.
Looking back at the twins, they were still sleeping; she wanted to see if she could find Dremis. Walking down the hallway, she looked down a couple of the hallways she passed
“Where are you going?” Dremis said.
Anabel twirled around, “huh? She said shaking her head. “I was looking for you, I want to know why your symbols on my stomach are starting to hurt?” she said crossing her arms.
“So you think turning you evil is going to be a walk in the part?” he said walking towards her. “You think you faced some deadly pain hurting the war, and even before that.” He said laughing, “This will be a hell of a lot worse than that, you’ll be begging to be put down and killed.” He said touching her face. “I hope you are willing to go through that, so you will join us and not have to rest for years because your energy will be low.” He said walking away from her. “Your boys call for you, go now we can finish this in three days.” He said disappearing around a corner.
Anabel walked back to the room she was staying in, Drake was there holding James. “I’m sorry they were crying.” He said handing Anabel James.
“It’s okay,” she half-smiled at me. “You are their father; I guess I cannot deny you when you want to hold them.” She said giving James back to Drake. “Enjoy it while it lasts, I’m going to figure out a way out of this.” She said picking up John.
“I don’t think you’re getting out of this one,” Drake said sitting next to Anabel. “I’d love to help you, but this is for the best.” He said looking down at James. “I mean they are always going to be part evil and part good, when they are older they will be making their choice of what they want to be. Evil or good.” He said shrugging his shoulders.
“Does Dremis have Misty’s book?” she said looking at the door half expecting Dremis to come through, but he didn’t.
“I don’t know.” He said looking away from. “I’m sure he does.”
“I do have the book,” Dremis said coming into the room with the book. “How else am I going to change you into a demon? You think I have that lying around, I would have done it while you were pregnant.” He said looking up at her.
“So how did you get the book?” she said looking up at him. “I mean do you have my sword too?”
“Not yet.” He said glancing down at the book. “But in time you’ll get it for me, once I do this ritual, I’m going to send you back to get my sword, and get me into Heaven.” He said half smiling at his plan. “Once there, I will take the crown, and take over. My realm will be the strongest, and biggest.”
“So you think you can use me to get to Heaven just to lose again?” she said shaking her head. “Good luck with that, because this ritual you think you’re going to do, guess what it won’t work, I’m too good to be evil.” She said looking away from him. “Find someone else to pick on.”
“Like whom?” he said looking up. “Would you like me to grab Carlos off his world, and do his soul instead of yours?” he closed the book and waited for her to respond. “I think I’ll bring him here, just so you don’t want to leave. You’ll have everything you need, so you’ll learn to love it.” He said before walking out of the room, Drake went with him.
