The rest of the evening passed by without any further incidents. It was something that I was grateful for, and I was sure that I wasn’t the only one who shared the sentiment. It seemed like removing Alaric from the equation had been the exact thing that had been necessary in order for us to get to the part where there was a sense of civility surrounding us.
