I took a dee breath, knowing that my mother was bound to throw a fit and a half when she saw me. I could already hear the way that she was scolding my father in my office, and even I was taking offence to it. The way that she had been behaving lately, was something that I didn’t like at all, and I was surprised that my father hadn’t yet put her in her place. But he had always been the meeker person. I shouldn’t be surprised that he was just taking this as it came and ignoring her. I knew that I wouldn’t have been able to do the same thing if our roles had been reversed. I didn’t bother knocking on the door before I went inside, because at this point in time, I wanted to see what was going on instead of simply hearing it. I knew that my mother and father weren’t expecting to see me, but I
