Chapter 7Groaning as his dream was rudely interrupted, Joshua flailed blindly to find the radio and deactivate the incessant beeping. Easing his head from the pillow, Joshua glared at the red numerals on the clock. He was not a morning person, but as he’d committed to helping clear the tsunami debris, he needed to be up and out. Rubbing at his eyes, Joshua let them become used to the light before opening them. Shuffling out to go through to the kitchen, Joshua was suddenly very glad of the boxers he’d worn to bed. Three delighted dogs came running to greet him, shoving their noses into his crotch before he could fend them off. “Guys, guys, come on. Leave Joshua alone. Sorry, man.” “No worries, bro.
