I felt a warm palm lightly caress my cheek but my eyes remained closed. I pretended that I wasn't awake. I want to know what else the owner of the daring hand caressing my cheek is planning to do.
I guess I'm already inside my room in Alpha Jacob's manor and lying on my bed. Maybe the deep scratches on my arm and back have been treated so I feel better now than earlier. Although I can still feel the pain but I can bear it.
