Harper’s POV
It was before I was alpha, four years ago to be more specific. My father was still leading the pack and I was being prepared to soon take over.
“Ben,” I called out as I walked out of the packhouse. “Where’s Mason?”
“Hey Harper,” Ben said, sitting under a tree for shade since it was a hot day. “I haven’t seen him today.”
“That doesn’t mean you don’t know where he is.” They were both 16 and practically inseparable for years. I was surprised they weren’t together now. “f**k, he’s in Rosetfre.”
Mason snuck off to Rosetfre to hang out with a group of friends he had made. One of them was sick and close to death so he was visiting more lately. The problem with that was that Rosetfre was near the Blue Eclipse pack’s territory and was under their protection. Mason wasn’t a threat
