Lake’s POV
I felt a lost connection between Morgan and the pack, the whole pack felt disconnected from her. That feeling made it clear to them that she had left our pack with no goodbye or warning.
Morgan said that they would put their own happiness first I they actually did it. I wanted to know how I could do it and if I could ever live with the consequences. Would I have been happy with Harper if my family disowned me and my pack shunned me?
When I got off the phone with Rudy I walked back to the dining hall. I felt bad for dismissing him but I’d make it up to him. He was right after all, we were both dragons which was why I tried to look out for him. That’s why I didn’t really help my father locate him.
