Elijah and Maddy walked towards the back of the house, then into a garden. In the middle of the rose patch was a blanket and picnic basket.
Maddy smiled up at Elijah. "How did you manage to pull that off? You guys just got back right?"
"I had some help." He lead her over to the picnic blanket and helped her to sit down. He sat beside her. "Maddy you look amazing."
Maddy blushed, reaching up and touching her cheek. "Thank you. You look very handsome today."
Elijah smiled and grabbed the picnic basket. "Let's see what we have here. Biscuits and jelly, some ham, strawberries, oh and Mary even put a few squares of chocolate in here."
