It was 3:45pm and Alias and Ayden were still not there. I was beginning to feel betrayed. I was hoping they would come since it was seriously important to me. I glanced behind me as soon as the door opened and Dylan walked out, sighing.
"Where are they?" He asked me.
"I don't know." I told him. "Can you give them a few minutes?"
"Oh honey, there's only so much to say to him. You need to call them and see if they are still coming. If they are not here in a few minutes, he's really not going to mess with you. Try to get them here."
Dylan shook his head nad turned around. As soon as he walked in, I glanced down at my time and began panicking. It was now 3:50... Time was not giving me no leverage at all. I sighed, ready to just cancel the whole thing. As I was turning to leave, the sound of a car pulling up was heard. I turned around as the car doors opened and Jesslyn poked her head out.
"Natalie!" She waved as she got out the car.
God, I was so happy to see her. Ayden and Alias got out the car as well and slammed the door shut. They walked over to me and I squealed.
"Thanks so much." I told them.
"Yeah, whatever." Alias told me. "Let's get this over with."
I nodded and turned, ready to go up the stairs. The door was pushed open and Dylan walked out with fuming Bryce.
"You're getting on my nerves!" Bryce shouted at Dylan. "I said 'NO', okay?! I'm not working with her!"
"And why not Bryce?" Dylan asked. "She hasn't done anything to you. Why do you hate her?"
"Dylan, you know why. Basic, dull, boring, no life, no family, not entertaining. Hello?! I must explain everything to you. You need to find another model. Someone more lifting than that basic ass barbie doll you're working with. She has nothing to bring to the table."
His insults... They f*****g hurt. It brought my mood down. Ayden placed his hand on my shoulder and I looked at him with small smile.
"Alias.." Ayden said his brother's name.
"Yeah, I know." Alias told him.
The two walked off and Jesslyn stayed beside me.
"Ignore him." She told me. "He's a f*****g asshole."
"I'm sorry." I told her, facing her and wiping the corner of my eye.
I never heard a photographer talk that way about me before. It was embarrassing as it was infront of Ayden, Alias and Jesslyn.
"Don't cry. We're going to blow him away with this f*****g photoshoot."
I nodded and watched as Ayden and Alias got to Bryce and Dylan.
"Can I help you?" Bryce asked. "Didn't your mother ever tell you not to join a conversation unless you were spoken to?"
"You're talking to me now, so I wasn't far off." Alias told him.
"What? I don't have time for this."
"First off, you're going to come at us, correctly." Alias told him.
"Oh yeah?" Bryce asked, getting in Alias' face. "Just who the f**k do you think you are?"
Dylan glanced at me and I nodded my head. His eyes widened and he tapped Bryce on the shoulder.
"Dylan, what?!" Bryce asked, getting agitated.
"These are the guys I was telling you about." He told him. "Ayden and Alias.."
"VinBlack." Ayden finished.
Bryce stopped talking, immediately.
"You're the VinBlacks?" Bryce asked.
"Yes." Ayden told him.
Jesslyn nudged me forward and I slowly walked over to Ayden's side with my arms folded. Bryce glanced at me with a raised eyebrow.
"How do you know her?" Bryce asked, pointing at me.
"Ayden's my boyfriend." I told him.
"Is that so?" Bryce asked as he glanced up at Ayden.
"Yes." Ayden confirmed.
"Hm... I want a photoshoot with you two." Bryce told Ayden and Alias.
"See that's not how it works." Alias told him.
"Oh?" Bryce was taken back by Alias' words.
"See, I don't know why, but she really wants to work with you. You get her the contract and we give you best shoot you can ever have in your whole entire life."
Bryce looked at me with a serious expression on his face.
"You give me any shoot I want?" Bryce asked.
"No men. We're not into that."
"Hm."
"Bryce, Alias is just this one time, but I'm sure Ayden would continue with me." I explained to him.
Bryce glanced at me and sighed.
"Well, let's see what you got for me." He said before he turned and walked back into his building.
Dylan put his arm around me and guided me in as well.
"You're so f*****g lucky." He whispered.
"He's lucky I didn't turn around after that f*****g insult." I told him.
"He's an ass, but he makes money off his photos."
He did. Bryce was the number one in the modeling agency and he had a huge waitlist once it came to people wanting to work with him. We stepped into his studio, which was massively huge. He had make-up artists, hairstylists and fashion designers all in their separate corner. I made my way up to Ayden and Alias as they stood in the middle of the floor.
"Okay, we need to get you guys ready." Bryce clapped his hands together. "We'll start with the hair first, then the make-up and then the clothes."
Ayden and Alias snapped their eyes at me once Bryce mentioned make-up.
"Not that much." I told them.
"It better not be." Alias shook his head at me.
"Alias?" Bryce called his name.
Alias sighed before he turned his way.
"You're married?" He asked him.
"I'm his wife." Jesslyn walked over to us, standing by his side.
"Hm.. I might need you, if that's okay?" Bryce said to her.
"I'm not a model." Jesslyn smiled.
"But, you fit what he wants." I sighed.
"I need a family and I could definitely use you for that with him."
"Ummm... I mean if he wants to."
Jesslyn glanced over at Alias and he gave her a mischevious smirk. She rolled her eyes and chuckled.
"What is it for?"
"We can have something sexy for you two, but first, let's get these men dressed to impress, shall we?" Bryce smiled widely.
Alias and Ayden glanced at each other before they followed after Bryce. Jesslyn and I watched as Bryce took them to get their hair done first.
"They are going to be swooning the women all around us." Jesslyn sighed.
I looked around and saw all the female models, staring in our direction. Ugh, too late.
"Don't worry; let them look." Bryce whispered to us.
I glanced back at him and nodded. However, I wasn't completely honest to him. Ayden and I... We were.... Well complicated. So, right now, I couldn't help, but to feel jealous of another woman looking his way.
