Tumakbo ako nang tumakbo without minding the rain that feels like stabbing my skin. I can already feel the exhaustion pero wala akong nagawa kundi ang magpatuloy. My paled skin was covered with bruises as I pass through the woods. The branches of massive and sinister trees were cutting my skin, as the gushing of crimson blood stained my rugged clothes. I heard the siren and their shouts calling my being came nearer and nearer. They were after me because I just killed a man, at kamalas-malasan pa dahil hindi lang sya basta-basta. He was an important person sa village namin-but an evil one. What he did to my family is ruthless. Those were enough to pull the trigger that rips the breath off from that man's body. Yeah, I killed him. At the age of seventeen, wala akong pinagsisisihan sa ginawa ko. Kaya heto ako ngayon, tumatakbo-fighting for my life. I almost jumped nang maramdaman kong unti-unti akong lumulubog dito. A scene popped into my mind. From that very moment, I accepted my destiny. I did nothing but close my eyes when inhaled the sand that hindered my lungs to function. The last thing I knew, unti-unti na akong lumubog sa kawalan.
