Ch-14 (Déjà vu)

Aahana sat down on the bed, panting. She held her head in pain; not knowing what to do. Aarav just sat there waiting for her to calm down a little. Samuel and Michael wanted to follow her to the room, but they can not because that would be weird. “Lay down; I will massage your head. I will ask for some hair oil.”; Aarav said as he walked out of the room and called a maid. “Can I get a bottle of hair oil, mild scented?”; Aarav asked politely. He does not have any medicine here. He does not trust the medical of this place right now. “Of course, Young Master.”; The maid bowed. She went away and was back within a minute. She handed him the oil. He thanked her and walked inside. Aahana looked at her brother with the bottle. She winced as her headache got worse. She sat down on the floor while Aarav took a seat on the bed. He took some oil in his hand and applied that to her hair before massaging it in. She closed her eyes as her brother kept on massaging to make her feel even a little better. “I had a Déjà vu.”; Aahana said. “Where?”; Aarav asked. “When I looked at the shop, Wander Jist. It was as if I have been there.”; She said. Aarav frowned but did not interrupt her. “But that cannot be true. How can I be in an entirely different world?”; She said, confused. “Maybe you remembered a shop from our world. A shop that might have looked the same.”; Aarav answered. She nodded; that makes sense. There is no way that what she had thought would be the same. “I… I also had a vision kind of thing.”; She said. Aarav hands stopped for a moment, but he started the massage again. “What kind of vision?”; Aarav asked. She suddenly took his hand off of her head and gripped it before turning back. Her eyes held confusion and worry. “I saw myself, I was entering that shop, but.”; She stopped mid-sentence. He squeezed her hand and nodded his head. “But I had a whiter complexion. I was wearing a dress and was walking in very similar way the duchess does.”; She said. “How does she walk?”; Aarav asked; he did not pay attention that ladies here walk differently. “Short steps and slow pace. I had the temperament the duchess has.”; She said. “You noticed these all things in a quick vision.”; He asked. She shrugged and turned around before placing the hand she gripped back to her head. He chuckled and started massaging again. “You mean to say, you felt like you were here for so long, that you learned their mannerisms.”; Aarav said. She nodded and sighed before placing her head on his knees. “That cannot be possible, right?”; Aahana asked. “Of course, it is not possible. Don’t worry about it.”; Aarav said. She sighed in relief; she just needed her brother’s reassurance. He massaged her temples, making her sigh in relief. Her worries and headache slowly left her. “There is no way, I will let anything happen to you.”; He whispered to himself. Aahana closed her eyes and slowly drifted to sleep. He felt her fall asleep, making him stop. He got up slowly, letting her head take support to the corner of the bed. Standing up, he picked her up and laid her down; taking her shoes off, he covered her with the blanket. He sat beside her and caressed her hair. He only has her, he will let no one harm her; no one. He got up and walked out of the room before closing the door. There has to be something in her vision. He is not blind; he sees how Archduchess and Archduke look at her; as if she is their daughter. Samuel and Michael also seem very caring to her and look at him as if he is interfering between them and Aahana. He is not an i***t; he can see there is something going on with this family and even with that archbishop. He is an excellent observer; he sees how their eyes dilated when they looked at her unconsciously. “I don’t think it was coincident that we came here.”; He murmured. He will find what these people are planning. He was walking to his room when he was stopped by the two brothers. He raised his eyebrows in question at their behaviour. “Is she okay?”; Samuel asked. “My sister, is fine.”; Aarav said; emphasising the term ‘My sister’. Samuel and Michael’s eyes twitched, but they managed to give him a smile. “That is good to here.”; Samuel said. Michael wanted to ask what happened to Aahana, but he stopped. He can sense that Aarav’s guard is up. He does not trust them; and interrogating about her now would make it worse. They turned around and walked away. Aarav looked at them walking away with narrowed eyes. ……………………………………….. “You should have not been too lenient with humans.”; A man in a black cloak said to the woman wearing a flowing bright white gown. Her sliver hair reached to her waist as her pupilless eyes narrowed at the screen in front of them. “Shut up, Dark.”; She growled at the man. His pure pupilless golden eyes shined in human while his midnight black was tied in a ponytail. “I am scared.”; The man raised his hands mockingly. She glared at him; but sighed in irritation. “Come on, pathetic humans could undo the wish YOU GRANTED. And in a sense, you helped them do it. That has to piss you off.”; He said with a smirk. She looked at him with an irritated look, and knowing he was right was making it worse. “They should not have done this.”; She said in a pissed off tone. Are these f*****g humans challenging her? She has always been merciful and seeing Aahana suffer so badly for so many times, she granted her wish. Everything has a purpose and opposing it will have some consequences. “Why did you choose her?”; she looked at Dark, who shrugged. “Come on, it will be fun.”; He said. “She is not someone you can play with. She is under my protection.”; She answered. He raised his hands in surrender. “I am not harming, Goddess. I am just giving her power to tackle what will come her way.”; He answered. To be honest, he has been so bored for so long, but she, she interests him. She does not even resent someone who has wronged her so many times. He once thought that she is an i***t and forgiving, so he lost the interest. But oh, hell, he was wrong. He saw her in the other world, how she created a bloodbath. She just wanted to get worthless people out of her mind. She did not bear a grudge against them because they were nothing to her. To hate someone; they have to matter to you. These people do not matter to her. He is sure she will make everything fun for him. “Don’t make her remember anything.”; Goddess warned him. He looked at her with a surprised expression. “What? Why are you surprised?”; She questioned. “You should have warned me. The process of her remembering has been started.”; Dark said with a chuckle. “Why would you do that? She has suffered enough. Why are you making her suffer again, by making her remember everything?”; She questioned. Before she could grab cloak in anger, he moved away with a smirk. “Exactly, my point. She has suffered enough. She does not need them. She has a family. Now, it is time for them to suffer. And who is better than her to do that.”; He questioned, making her frown. “I am just giving her chance to get her own justice. They never suffered for the crime they did. And when they did, they just called her for their own selfish reason. They have been playing with her whole their life. It is time, she has a chance to do what she wants with them.”; He said, making the Goddess shake her head. “That is…”; Goddess started but was cut off by Dark. “Oh, come on, cut the s**t. You did not really punish them for their crime. You just keep on giving them chances. It is favouritism I sense.”; He said. “NO!!”; She shouted. “Living in a guilt, having sleepless night, being haunted for whole your life and being hated by the person you love, eats you from inside; Dark. I gave them a prison they could not escape from.”; She answered. “Yet, they did.”; He answered; making her frown. “She suffered for three lifetimes, she was tortured and she too had the ‘prison’ you are talking about. She was hated by her own family. How is that justice?”; He asked, making her shut up. “You failed to deliver justice. So, I shall take it in my own hands.”; He said. “You… You”; She wanted to retaliate but could not, because he was right. She failed to become a good goddess. “Just sit back and relax; have some fun this time. I show you what is justice with a kick of fun.”; He smirked, making her nervous.
