Ch-15 (I, me and the girl)

1434 Words
“Your Highness, Crown Prince of Gloria, has sneaked into the guards. They are waiting for your command.”; Lewis said to Imperial Crown Prince. Lewis was pissed. How dare a mere Crown Prince of a kingdom try to trick Imperial Crown Prince? They really have no respect for the Imperial family anymore. These puny kingdoms should be taught a lesson. Every kingdom belongs to the Imperial family; if they want, they can take it back whenever they want. “Let him be, Lewis.”; Imperial Crown Prince answered. Lewis frowned at the answer, isn’t he letting go too much? “But, Prince…”; Lewis started, but shut up when he looked at the prince, who looked at him with a deadpan look. Lewis nodded and opened the window before shaking his head at the soldier, who nodded. Lewis sighed and closed the window. ………………………………………… Aahana opened the door where Aarav was waiting for her. She smiled at him and walked to the dining hall. Maids and butlers followed them from behind. It is very confusing for them. They do not have any idea why is their masters treating these people so kindly. Yet, they are not to ask questions or they will lose their job. She opened the door; everyone was waiting for them. They sat down on their chairs when Eleanor spoke up. “Are you okay, dear? I heard you had a severe headache.”; Eleanor questioned in an anxious tone. Aahana smiled and nodded. She looked down at the food as everybody started eating. Anderson kept looking at Aahana, who sat away from him. Aahana was looking down on her food; her headache was growing with every passing second. The headache started the moment she saw everyone’s face. She is a perfectly healthy girl; she does not have any history of migraines or anything. Samuel frowned, looking at her. She was playing with her food and not eating anything. Michael and Anderson noticed it as well, but said nothing. Seems like the chef needs to be replaced. “Are you okay?”; Aarav whispered. He looked at her with a worried face. “Can I leave? I really want to just lay down on the bed.”; Aahana whispered in his ears. He looked at her and nodded. “Your Grace, we would like you to excuse us. My sister is not feeling good right now.”; Aarav said. Anderson looked at Aahana, whose eyebrows were furrowed in pain. “Of course, I will call for a doctor.”; Anderson said. Aarav nodded as he got up with Aahana and walked her out of the dining room. Aahana did not know, but she blacked out as soon as she got out of the hall. She did not see Aarav’s worried expression or hear him shouting her name in anxiety. She just laid there in his grip, silently and unmoving. …………………………… Aahana opened her eyes but saw nothing but darkness. She frowned and looked around, yet she could see nothing. She could not comprehend whether she was in the dark or is she dreaming. Last moment she remembers is when she was walking out of the dining hall with her brother. She frowned as she stood straight and took no further step. She does not know what is in front of her. She put one foot forward and put some pressure to ensure that the ground was firm enough for her to stand on it. Just as she was about to move forward, she felt the ground beneath her breaking. Before she could take another step, she fell down. She wanted to scream in fright, but no voice came out. She closed her eyes, waiting for herself to fall to her death, but she felt nothing. She did not feel that she was falling down anymore. She slowly opened her eyes, and the scenery took her breath away. She stood up and looked at the beautiful garden full of black roses. She has not been a girl who loves flower, but she really likes black roses and seeing a garden full of them makes her look at them in awe. She walked forward to get a closer look, but she did not enter the garden. A small smile came on her face, but as soon as it came, it vanished. Some roses wilted away, some rotted and remaining were cut off from the stem suddenly. Her eyes widened in shock. She wanted to walk inside the garden, thinking that she might be able to save them. But she was stuck in her place; she watches in horror as the once beautiful garden turned into a marshland. She scrunched her nose, smelling the rotting smell. The smell was of rotting flesh; it was so pungent that she had to control herself to not gag. She looked away, trying to control her nausea. She did not want to look in front, but soon she heard a spine-chilling scream coming from in front of her. She turned around and looked straight; her eyes widened in surprise. There was a girl, looking exactly like her, but had a fairer complexion than her. The girl had no emotions in her eyes, her neck was bleeding profusely. Her whole dress was soaked in blood. She looked malnourished and beaten up. Yet, she stood in front of her as if nothing hurts, as if she has died already, yet her body refuses to let her go. She looked straight into Aahana’s eyes. She stretched her hand, wanting to touch Aahana. Aahana tried to walk, and to her surprise, she could move. She moved forward towards the girl. The girl watched her every moment. Aahana was struggling to get to the girl because of the marshland. The girl’s stretched hand fell down as she looked at the struggling Aahana. “Don’t” Aahana suddenly stopped when she heard the girl speak. Much to her surprise, her voice was the same as her. She looked up at the girl, who was already looking at her. Aahana’s eyes widened as she saw the girl’s face melting. “Don’t trust them. They will betray you. They always do. They are not family, they are not yours, they are evil. KILL THEM ALL!!!!”; The girl shouted at the end. Aahana fell down because of how painful and horrifying the scene was. She watched as the girl melting to nothing. Aahana had trouble keeping her food down as she vomited everything out. She panted; she was tried. She was exhausted, not knowing what really was happening. She got up slowly; she was about to walk to the place where the girl stood but stopped when she took her first step. She looked down and, much to her horror; she was wearing the same dress the girl was wearing. She looked at her hands and saw the black and blue bruises on her wrist. She touched her neck and look at her hand and to her horror; she was bleeding through her neck. Her eyes widened; she looked in front of her, seeing herself looking away from the rotten garden as she was doing some time ago. She tried to call herself, but just as she opened her mouth, all that came out was a scream. She looked at herself, who turned around and looked at her. She stretched her arm, wanting to touch herself, wanting to know why the f**k did she take the position of the girl and why she was seeing herself in front of her. But before she could do anything, she felt herself melting. She felt nothing yet; she knew she was melting away. She wanted to say something but just as she opened her mouth all the came was. “Don’t trust them. They will betray you. They always do. They are not family, they are not yours, they are evil. KILL THEM ALL!!!!” .................................... Sorry for not updating for two days but my health has not been keeping up with me. So, yeah.
