Ch-22 (NOGI!!)

Aarav opened his eyes, stretching himself he was about to get up but suddenly his eyes met someone’s else; making him jump in surprise.

“WHAT THE f**k!?”; He shouted. He looked at Aahana, who was now standing in front of him with a small smile.

Bark~ Bark~; Nogi was barking and his tail was wagging. Aarav narrowed his eyes at him.

“Yeah, of course. You love when I am in pain.”; Aarav said to Nogi, who barked as if he was saying ‘yes’. Aahana chuckled at their interaction.

“Why are you arguing with Nogi?”; Aahana asked, barely able to contain her laughter. Aarav yawned and shook his head.

“Because he loves to see me in pain. He is just a mamma boy.”; Aarav said as Nogi jumped on the bed placed his butt on Aarav’s pillow.

“What the hell are you doing so early in my room?”; Aarav asked. He could have hurt her if he did not notice that it is his sister who is disturbing him.

“We need to go.”; Aahana said in a serious tone. Aarav stopped stretching his hands, sensing how serious she sounded. He got off the bed and stood in front of her. His eyes looked puffy while his lips were in a little pout because he was not really fully awake, but he could sense something might be wrong here.

“What happened? Did they do something to you?”; Aarav asked. Aahana shook her head in denial.

“We need to find about this world. I just met a prince of Gloria in my room who was peeking me bathing.”; Aahana said, making Aarav eyes widened.

“WHAT!?”; Aarav shouted.

“You called guards on him, right?”; Aarav asked, but much to his disappointed Aahana shook her head.

“Why? Are you f*****g i***t?”; Aarav said. Aahana shrugged.

“I could have called no guards; because there were no guards. That prince was not an idiot.”; Aahana said.

“Are you okay? Did he come here to harm you?”; Aarav asked.

“I don’t know. But he looks normal; he has black hair and silver eyes. I thought he might be of another world and that is why he came. I was wrong. I erased his memories of the time he met me.”; Aahana said. Aarav sighed and sat down again. He could not handle roller-coaster of emotions.

“Also, I did not feel repulsed by him even though he is a peeping tom. I did not feel what I feel for the Griffith family.”; Aahana added.

“These people are hiding something for us, that is sure. And they are adamant about keeping us, well you here with them.”; Aarav said.

“Me?”

Aarav nodded at her.

“Yes, there is something fishy going on and staying inside this manor won’t help us get any answers. We sure need to go out and explore this world. We cannot just stay here. There has to something here that can provide a job so, that we can leave this manor.”; Aarav said.

“Samuel offered us a job, I rejected him.”; Aahana informed.

“Good. We want nothing that will keep us linked to them after we leave this manor. We will ask to go out. Hopefully, the brothers have some work because since I have come here, I haven’t seen them working. So, I don’t know where they get money from. Like where do I sign up for that job?”; Aarav started ranting.

“Focus, focus.”; Aahana stopped him.

“Yeah, right, sorry about that. Even if they do come with us. We will distract them so we could leave them. I may apply for a doctor or a chemist, maybe. What about you?”; Aarav asked.

“Manager in a shop where I manipulate people into buying too much.”; Aahana answered.

“Okay, good. So now go out, I need to take a bath and get changed. Take Nogi with you.”

Aahana picked up Nogi and placed him down. She was about to walk off but was stopped by Aarav’s angry shout.

“NOGI!!”

Aahana looked back at him with questioning eyes.

“HE s**t ON MY PILLOW!!”; Aarav shouted again. She looked at the brown s**t on his white pillow. Aahana chuckled as she saw Aarav trying to catch him.

“COME HERE YOU LITTLE BASTARD, I WILL TEACH YOU A LESSON.”; Aarav shouted as he tried to chase Nogi from all over the room. Aahana started laughing at the comic scene. Missing the chaotic mornings, they used to have back at home where Nogi would sit on Aarav’s face to wake him up in the morning. This always pissed Aarav off because it is her that takes him to walk, not him, yet Nogi would always wake him up very early.

She chuckled before picking up Nogi. Aarav stood in front of them, glaring at Nogi.

“He says sorry.”; Aahana said. Aarav sighed and shook his head.

“I know he does not. He just loves to get me angry. Go out now, I will ask some maids to clean this up while I take a bath.”; Aarav said as he walked into the bathroom. Aahana smiled and walked out of the room.

“What happened there, Your Highness?”; Kez asked Rowan.

“I don’t know.”; Rowan answered. He has never felt this confused in his life.

“Did I get inside the manor?”; He asked Kez, who nodded.

“You did. You asked me to wait outside. Then you came back late but would say nothing. That is why I am asking, did something happen?”; Kez asked.

“I remember nothing. I don’t know what happened at all.”; Rowan said.

“How can that happen?”; Kez asked.

“Seems like this Archduke Anderson is not someone we can take lightly.”; Rowan said. Kez was confused.

“I don’t think that even Archduke Anderson can erase someone’s memories.”; Kez said.

“What?”; Rowan questioned.

“Well, you did get inside Your Highness. There has to be something you saw or someone you met that erased your memories because there is no a single injury on your body”; Kez answered.

“You mean my memories has been erased.”; Rowan was so confused.

“Yes, Your Highness. It is my assumption, but it is unlikely to happen. There is no one in this world who can do that. It an attribute of Dark Magic. No one has ever had Dark Magic of Goddess knows how many centuries.”; Kez answered.

Rowan said nothing but smiled at Kez. Seems like Archduke Anderson is hiding something more valuable than he thought. That Augustus had to leave the manor and he does not know what happened inside the manor with him. What is in that f*****g manor? What is Archduke guarding with such vigour? He will soon know and he will take it. He will take the power for himself.

Nogi- *stares at him and gave a smirk*

Aahana- What are you doing?

Aarav- He smirked at me. He is taunting me, don't you see.

Aahana- He is a dog, Aarav. He cannot smirk. *Picks up Nogi and walks away*

Nogi- *Looks over Aahana's shoulder to Aarav. Smirks widened and shows middle finger*
