Ch-6 (Meeting her)

1772 Words
Eugene, Archduke Anderson, Samuel and Michael sat inside, Archbishop’s study thinking hard. They cannot help but feel happy to see her alive and healthy. What made them mad was how the boy was holding him close. HE HAS NO RIGHT!! HE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN NEAR HER!! “What should we do?”; Samuel asked. The question was very simple, yet the meaning was something else. He wants to know-how are they going to convince her to come back home with them. They want to take her back to their mansion. “We offer help.”; Michael answered, making them look at him with a confused expression. “What do you mean?”; His father, Archduke Anderson, questioned, making Michael smile. “It is simple, father. They have nowhere to go. We are rich and kind. We will come as people who are simply wanting to help people in distress.”; Michael said, making his father raise his eyebrows in surprise. This plan seems plausible. “But we help both of them.”; Michael added, making them nod. Of course, if they just talk to her, it will be suspicious. “They can stay here with me.”; Eugene said, making the three men look at him with raised eyebrows. He smiled at them, but deep down he was mad. He became an archbishop to bring her back, but now that she is back, he cannot follow her. Archbishop is a very binding job, he cannot venture out of the church for long, that means he won’t be able to meet her much. “She is my daughter, Archbishop. And I am sure that being an Archbishop, takes too much of your time, you won’t be able to take care of her.”; Anderson said, making Eugene narrow his eyes. “She was your daughter, Archduke. She now belongs to a different world and has different parents.”; Eugene said, making them grit their teeth. “I think you guys really need a reality check, so let me tell you again. YOU GUYS ARE NOTHING TO HER.”; He added, enjoying their angry expression. He enjoyed their pathetic state. They actually thought that they can manipulate her. He cannot just trust these people; they were her family for past three lives, yet nothing came good out of it. Aahana and Aarav got out of the room and looked at the deserted hallway. There was not a single soul they could even hear. “Don’t tell me, you saw ghosts”; Aahana said as Aarav give her a deadpanned look. Shaking his head, he walks to his left as Aahana follows him, taking in the decor. This really looks like a medieval church. She looks outside, seeing an exquisite, pollution free atmosphere. ‘Yup, we travelled back in time’; she thought. There is no way there is no pollution near such an enormous church which even has a guest room. Either it has to be in a city which is not the case, or it has to be a tourist spot, and hence pollution must be there. Aarav was trying to find someone. His mind is trying to speculate about things, but he does not want to. He just wants to have a simple answer to his question. Just as he was thinking, he saw a priest walking by. “Excuse me.”; Aarav called out to the man making him turn toward them. “Yes, how can I help you?”; the man asked humbly, not trying to be rude and gawk at what they both were wearing. “Do you know where can I find the priest with white hair and cyan coloured eyes?”; He asked, making Priest look at them with wide eyes before he smiled politely. There were rumours that Archbishop has received some weird guest, seems like they were not just some rumours after all. “Ah, you want to meet the archbishop. Follow me.”; He said as he turned around and kept on walking. Aahana and Aarav looked at each other and raised their eyes in confusion before following him. They felt this priest’s attitude weird, who talks like they are talking in a drama. They kept on walking as Aahana’s boots made noise with every of her moment. Her hair was down and she looked a little tired. She sighed. She just wanted to go home, take off her bra, take a shower, and go to sleep. She quit her job thinking finally she could have some time off to relax, but then this happened. They stopped in front of a brown gate as the priest knocked. He entered, gesturing them to wait outside. She narrowed her eyes as she saw him inside; she is not getting a good feeling from this. Eugene frowned when he saw the priest walk in. Anderson, Samuel and Michael wall went quiet, waiting for the priest to speak. “Sir, your guests want to meet you.”; He informed making Eugene raise his eyebrows. ‘Guests? Is she awake?’; This thought went through everyone’s mind as Eugene cleared his throat. “Let them in.”; Eugene ordered, making the priest nod and walk out. “She is awake.”; Michael said in a cheerful tone yet, all of them were nervous. What if she remembers everything? She will hate them, no, more like loath them. She will even curse them for taking her present life away from her. Aarav entered with Aahana behind him. He noticed how everyone looked at them with a smile. Aahana stood beside Aarav, making Anderson take a deep breath in. She still looks the same, she still looks like a little innocent girl who could do no harm. “Please have a seat.”; Eugene said as he gestured them to take seats. Aarav had his guard up while Aahana was looking at all of them. Her eyes widened when she looked at Samuel, making Samuel take a sharp breath in. Does she remember him? He wants her to remember that he is her brother, but he does not want her to know what he did to her. ‘PINK, THIS MAN HAS f*****g PINK HAIR.’; Aahana thought. She narrowed her eyes. ‘It does not look like a hair colour; HE HAS NATURAL PINK HAIR. WHAT THE f**k!?’; she thought as she was deep in thoughts with that obnoxious hair colour, Aarav spoke up. “Can you please tell us where are we?”; Aarav questioned making Aahana turn to Eugene making him look at her and give her a small smile, which was returned making him mentally sigh in relief. Seems like she does not remember. “You in the kingdom name Asiaur, but I think that is not what you are asking;” Eugene said, making Aarav narrow his eyes. “You are in a different dimension altogether.”; Eugene said, making Aahana raise her eyebrows in amazement while Aarav frowned. “You expect me to believe it.”; Aarav said, making Eugene chuckle. “This happens once in a while when our Goddess, transport people from different dimension to our dimension. This happens when Goddess does that when she believes those people were born in wrong dimension.”; He said, making Aahana chuckle. This made everyone look at her. Anderson wanted to smile, seeing his daughter chuckle. She looks so beautiful, calm and peaceful. He looked down at his shoes, remembering how he took every little happiness she had in a previous lifetime. “Sorry, it just sounded funny that your goddess realized that now. She could have done when we were babies, right?”; Aahana questioned, having a small yet friendly looking smile. Eugene chuckled because he recognised this smile, a ‘Don’t f**k with Me’ smile. He gave this smile a lot in his previous lives. “We don’t really know how it happens, Miss...”; “Aahana”; She replied, making all of them flinch inside. Her name is different, she has a unique accent as well, her hair is of same colour yet they look fuller and healthier. She was beautifully tanned unlike in the past where she was as white as snow; well, more like pale. “Miss Aahana.”; Eugene completed the sentence as he noticed the differences. “As the church members it is our duty to provide every knowledge and means to live in this world to the people of other worlds.”; Eugene said, making Aarav having a headache. “Wait a minute, what do you mean provide means to live. Provide us the way to get back to our world.”; Aarav said, making Eugene sigh. “We are not aware of that method, Sir…”; This time it was Samuel who spoke. “Aarav, and from your clothes sir, you don’t seem to be a member of the church.”; Aarav said as politely as he could. He is f*****g angry. They teleported to another world. He still cannot get his mind around that. “We are not, Sir Aarav, but we help the church provide for the people who arrive here. It is our duty as the members of the Archduke’s family.”; Michael said, making Eugene grit his teeth. He knows what Michael is trying to do. He is trying to lure them to come with the powerful family. “Sir Samuel is right, Sir Aarav.”; Eugene said, gesturing to the pink-haired man. ‘So, his name is Samuel, damn I can’t get over his hair colour;’ Aahana thought as she looked at Eugene. “We don’t know any method; we don’t bring people and therefore we cannot take them back. We are just normal humans; I apologise to you Sir.”; Eugene humbly replied, making Aarav unable to be angry. It is not these people's fault, there is no way humans can teleport people from other world, right? ............................................................. I got my first racist comment , I felt bad and disappointed to see that such narrow minded people still exist. Why can't people be just, you know, human? Anyway, I won't rant anymore. I hope you guys like the chapter Bye~
